Great Hotel if you love birds!
Literally its like 1000 birds outside (only on the hotel premises) that comes out around 6pm & stays all night to the sun comes up making a bunch of noise. This is every night & the staff knows this. When I 1st seen it I was so amazed to see that many birds then you realize how much noise they make. As I was walking to the front desk agent to ask what the issues was with the birds she was ready giggling because she knew what I was coming to her about. I been up since 2am because of these birds. It's 5am as I'm typing & these birds are so f*#king loud. Do not stay here if you want sleep because it's nothing they can do about the birds. I really wish it was audio on here yall would see I'm not exaggerating. How do you call yourself a hotel & you can't get sleep? Oh & I had to unplug the phone because I keep ringing in the middle of the night.

Disappointing...
Avoid this hotel if you can. My family of 5 stayed there for one night on New Year's Eve. We selected this hotel due to the name brand and location. It was close to the marina and we were on our way to San Pedro. The staff is generally friendly and the rooms were clean and acceptable. However, on arrival we were told that the hotel was throwing a big New Year's party and that it would be loud. We were provided with 2 sets of ear plugs. At this point we should have realized that it was not going to be a great night's sleep and should not have checked in. The band was set up right under our window which was facing the water. The music was extremely loud, to the point of shaking the windows and it went until 4 am. We tried calling the desk to see what they could do and got no response. My wife forgot her toothbrush and they did not have any, was told the shop was closed. We thought at least there was complimentary coffee, but had to pay for it. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel charged $25 USD per person, which is absolutely a rip off! You can get varying rates if you asked around, which we discovered later. There were two restaurants on site, but only one was open due to the special event. The waiter there mixed up my order and I had to wait another half hour for the correct item while the rest of my family was eating. Don't let the pictures mislead you - the tables and chairs outside were not usable, they had dirt and grime on them, the pool was cold and on the night we were there there was no one using it. Sorry, Radisson, I would not stay here again.

Excellent service
I had an amazingly relaxing, decadent final day in Belize City thanks to the resourcefulness and kindness of Shanice at the front desk who found a way for me to enjoy the pool for an afternoon despite there being no day passes by allowing me to rent a room by the hour. I also want to give a big shout-out to Shamar who worked the kitchen who lent me a dollar to buy a drink with when I realized I had no local currency left! It's experiences like these that make one trust and rely on a hotel like this, and ensure that I will be coming back.

A safe option, but not necessarily the highest value
We stayed at the Radisson for our first night in Belize. The hotel is right next to the ferry terminal to help get you to the Cayes. The room was functional and clean (but no HDMI to plug in a Roku stick). The restaurant seemed overpriced compared to other options in the neighborhood. The hotel appears to contract with a few drivers for day trips. The drivers have to work to get business, but they can come across as aggressive when you're just trying to walk into the hotel after a day of walking around. We had some very loud birds outside our room that woke us up at 5:30 AM, but I'm not sure you can fault the hotel for the birds on their premises.

Clean and good location, but food should have been better
Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The view from the room was lovely. We ate at the breakfast buffet and had dinner at the Tavern one night as well as some take out for lunch. The food at the Tavern is what moved the score from 4 to 3 stars. The food was average to tough and leathery. And it took a long time to arrive. I originally thought that this may just be par for the course in Belize, but during the course of our trip we had much better food experiences at other hotels. There was also a lot of construction noise coming from across the street. Luckily our room was well sound proofed. Upon a walk we found Creme De La Creme 2 a short distance away near the lighthouse. Amazing food and frozen goodies.
