    Almost perfect

Great location for meeting up with our liveaboard boat. Wonderful staff, meal options, and landscape. It was easy to plan a tour, to go for a walk-about, or just hang out in the AC’d lobby. Highlights were socializing at the bar/restaurant with fellow liveaboard passengers.

Would recommend only to my WORST enemy. Beware that all the 1 star reviews are 1000% true.

We had a very old and outdated room on the ground floor. They put us in a room next to the courtyard where there are cable lines w at least two dozen of birds cawing the entire night. I am not exaggerating, you will be up ALL night so bring ear plugs. I think the birds are there all year round as the front of the hotel blocks the wind so it’s there nesting area. This was one of the worst night I've spend on vacation ever. The bathroom floor looked like it wasn't cleaned, floor in the room was so old it looked dirty and the dresser was broken/missing draws. I heard from another couple that you could request to change room to the "newer side". now I don't believe she meant "new" but rather slightly better room with the glass windows facing the water. If they try to put you on ground floor or any rooms connected to the front desk/ lobby, ask to be in the further glass building. If you have to stay in Belize City for a night be prepared that others said this was one of the better hotels in the city but know it's a 1 start hotel. It only gets 1 star from us bc the restaurant was decent and the bathroom was nicer than our entire hotel room. The nicer restaurants (that people raved about) no longer serve lunch and dinner after covid. Just beware that you've been warm! Good luck w any hotel in Belize City. Lol.

    Do not stay here

This is probably one of the worst hotels that I have visited. It began when we checked in. We were told our requested king room wasn’t ready but a room “with a view” and two queen beds was ready. We agreed to take this room as we were tired. When we first entered our hotel room, there was a rotating fan on the floor. The air conditioner was on, barely. Oh there was a view alright. But you couldn’t see it through the dirty windows. The “rods” that held the curtains (if you can call them that) were rusty and virtually useless. The walk around the hotel at night showed several rats on the premises. The pool had two lounge chairs, no umbrellas and the bar was. closed. I would not ever stay here again. It was our first visit to Belize and we were unsure of the flights to San Pedro. Next time we will go directly to our resort. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Average, but do try the restaurant!

Not the best Radisson on the planet. It's just a little grubby and worn around the edges and the front of house employees didn't impress, BUT location can't be beat. And the food was good, the waitstaff were lovely, and you can't beat the view out the window.

In need of a major renovation

My family stayed here the night before our morning departure out of Belize and it is quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was musty and rusty and dirty and overall felt like it needed an overhaul 20 years ago. The bar food was mediocre at best and service was slow. The front desk staff and shuttle driver (airport shuttle is an additional cost) were all very friendly and helpful, and despite other reviews, our room on the 6th floor did not experience any street noise.
