This place is a hidden gem. I loved it so much words can’t describe it. Heina was so kind and helpful. Highly recommended. Location is unbeatable. Room is wide and very well designed. I love little high quality touches like Etro shampoos and other condiments. I even had washer dryer in my room. Highly recommended!

Great experience and friendly concierge.
I had reservations for five days in three different rooms. Heina is very friendly, professional and helpful. She went above and beyond in helping me arranging the accommodation so that I can stay in the same room for the five days. I found that she was very helpful. The room is clean and I would definitely recommend my friends to stay at this hotel.

COZY ITALIANATE BOUTIQUE VILLA WITH OLD WORLD QUALITIES AND LATEST COMFORTS, OPEN SPACES & CHARMING CONCIERGERIE
A cozy and quiet European-style boutique with dark classic solid wood furnitures and hand carved antique wooden chests adorn each floor’s elevator lobby. We were warmly welcomed by Troy, the Concierge who, along with several adept and pleasant colleagues, helped us cheerfully and continuously pointing out places to dine and enjoy. Philippe, the General Manager, inquired about our well-being and preferences almost daily and whenever we met. There is a courtyard on the second floor with ceramic and hand-painted tile and a water fountain which gurgles and splashes happily spreading its sound up the atrium to floors above. Step through the wrought iron gates to descent an open staircase fanning out to the sidewalk below. A tasteful and elegant entrance “Spanish Steps a la Roma!” The open air corridors wind between the rooms on each floor. These tiled floors offer light and charming views of Westwood. The hotel is in the heart of Westwood next to the free admission Hammer Art Museum. Facing the hotel are Persian, Mexican, Chinese and Italian restaurants. Five minutes walk to UCLA, ten minutes drive to Beverly Hills, or Santa Monica, 20 minutes to the Getty Museum. We had booked for a week but stayed for 31 nights!

The rooms at Plaza La Reina are enormous which you would really appreciate if you are doing an extended stay. The location is great. Close to downtown Westwood shops and restaurants, the Hammer Museum and UCLA. However, the rooms could use new furniture (some stains and wear to the couch) and the bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom shower door leaked and the bathroom got quite wet during a shower. The room was not as clean as I would expect either. Staff was incredibly nice, our room was ready and hour early for check in and we were able to leave our car in the car park after we checked out for a few hours before we left town.

Very good hotel with good value for you money. In a good location, close to UCLA, restaurants in a very safe neighborhood. Has a parking lot under the hotel that is very convenient but you have to pay. Room cozy, clean with a lot of appliances (microwave, stove, dishes, washing and dryer machines)
