Such a relaxing trip! Everyone was so nice, helpful and friendly. Recommend doing star class at the Planet Hollywood. Daniel as concierge was great help scheduling dinners and events. Yeraly at the star class pool was fab too with drinks and food. The resort had fun classes, shows, spa (I suggest a scrub and massage) and they have golf carts running at all times so no walking needed up the hill. The black sand beach had some of the clearest and calmest water. Food was not my favorite but it never is at an all inclusive (the vegetarian wrap at lunch was...different) but the breads were super soft and oh so good. Also would prefer actual diet soda and not Pepsi zero. Costa Rica is now my go-to all inclusive resort destination - it, the people and the weather were beautiful.

My experience at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica was deeply disappointing, not only because I became ill during my stay, but also because of the overall food quality and the way the resort handled my concerns afterward. For an all-inclusive resort, I expected a much better dining experience. The food quality, preparation, and consistency fell short of expectations. On multiple occasions throughout our stay, both I and others in my traveling group encountered chicken that appeared to be undercooked. We also had concerns about food temperatures and preparation, raising questions about the consistency of the resort's food-safety practices. I subsequently experienced an illness that significantly impacted the final day of my vacation and prevented me from enjoying activities I had planned. I expected my concerns to be taken seriously and addressed with genuine empathy and professionalism. Unfortunately, the resort's response was just as disappointing as the experience itself. During one interaction, a member of the staff appeared to be holding back laughter while I was explaining my situation. Even more troubling, rather than demonstrating concern or taking my food-safety concerns seriously, I was told that I could have picked up bacteria anywhere. There were also comments that implied my personal hygiene could have been a contributing factor. Rather than taking accountability, showing empathy, or making a genuine effort to understand my concerns, the response felt dismissive and defensive. I found these interactions insulting and completely unprofessional, particularly when I was trying to communicate a legitimate concern about my health and well-being. I was also part of a very large group that brought considerable business to the resort. This made it even more disappointing how my concerns were handled. Regardless of how much business a guest or group brings to a property, everyone deserves to feel valued, respected, and taken seriously. Rather than feeling that my well-being was a priority, I felt I had to repeatedly advocate for myself just to have my concerns acknowledged. To be fair, I did enjoy the spa, and the accommodations were generally nice. Most of the resort's staff members were also pleasant, welcoming, and provided good service. I want to acknowledge that their efforts should not be overshadowed by this experience.

Excellent Service
Excellent Service and Outstanding Hospitality Wonderful experience and received excellent service. We would especially like to recognize our concierge, who was always attentive and went out of his way to help us secure a reservation at the restaurant we really wanted to visit, even though there was initially no availability. From the first day until our departure, he paid attention to every detail and was always willing to help. We would also like to thank Gabriel from Nomadtourscr, who was recommended to us by the hotel for our outdoor tours and activities. The service was excellent: always on time, clean vehicles, and very competitive prices for private excursions. Lastly, many thanks to the bell staff for helping us with our luggage, which, by the way, was quite a lot! Thank you, Costa Rica! We are leaving with wonderful memories and a truly great experience.
