This place has it all! Amazing food, fantastic entertainment (a musical journey is a must see) and top quality accommodations. We will definitely be back!

Pleasantly surprised with this resort
Had a little fear before coming to resort after reading all the comments on the planet Hollywood Facebook page but was pleasantly surprised as my family had a great time and all the issues people were complaining about we did experience any sort of issues. I thought the food was great and very good selection of different restaurants. Nightly entertainment was good but could be better different shows other then just singing. The Mexican festival was awesome. We stayed in star class and I think it was worth it the only thing that was missing was a star class lounge to get the premium liquor as the only way to get that is by the pool during the day but at nite there was no place but other then that we had a blast

Do yourself a favor and do not book here. First day, there was hair on the toilet and a stain on the sofa bed, they said they couldnt change it until the next day so all 4 of us slept on 1 bed. 3rd day there was mold in the yogurt. Last day the shuttle left without us even though we were sitting there waiting. Managers Inri, Diego and Dayron told me they might get us anothet shuttle if we write a good reiview on trip advisor, I told him no thank you we will book our own shuttle. Bottom line customer service is 0, just hope you have no issues

Worst customer service
Facility is nice. Rooms are not the best. Very bad customer service from employees to managers. Only a handful of employees had some customer service but overall the hotel lacks basic customer service.

The resort had its pros and cons, but we kept an open mind the entire time. For reference, we were a group of 8 ranging from 29 to 67 & go to Mexico multiple times a year. This resort would be best for families with children. Pros: Javier and Mafer, our personal butler's, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! They checked in daily via texting, came down and chatted at the pool, and met us at our dinner reservations! Anything we asked for, they got for us! Eric, at the adult pool bar, made the pool day great! He always had a smile on his face and ensured we did too! Fernando, bartender at the disco, was awesome! He was so friendly and ensured we had a great time! The entertainment team at the adult pool was awesome! Every day there was water aerobics, games, trivia, music, foam parties! They went above and beyond to keep us entertained! They worked super hard to make sure everyone had a great time! Sports bar was fun at night & the snacks were delicious! They had karaoke and kept the guests entertained! Nightly shows were entertaining, but focused on children! Restaurants- Our butlers made us reservations at 4 restaurants- Catch, Brazilian Steakhouse, Hibachi and Italian. Our favorite were Hibachi and Italian. The buffets for breakfast and lunch were great. We ate at Catch for breakfast and it was also delicious! Highly recommend trying the food truck at the pool- tacos were amazing! MTS transportation to/from airport was great! We never had to wait for more than 10 minutes. The beach area was great! There were many lounge chairs to choose from. Yes, seaweed is there, but they had a tractor cleaning it every few hours! We walked the beach to other resorts and they weren't even cleaning it! So be thankful PH does! The resort has lots of security and we felt safe! Fuel (coffee shop) we had to wait 30 minutes in line, but the coffees were good! The two women working were pleasant, smile on their faces, and kept the line moving. You just have to be patient! Spa experience was 15 out of 10! One of the best experiences we've ever had. From walking in, to locker room, and waiting area- it was beautiful. Christina was very pleasant and ensured we had a relaxing time!The hydrotherapy experience was top notch and highly recommend! My massage was awesome, thank you Guadalupa! Cons: Adult Scene Star Class VIP check-in process was 1 out 5. Star Class pool area and bar area were very small. Star Class beach bar staff weren't friendly. They acted like they were mad people were down there and they had to work. Getting a lounge chair at the pool was hard. If you weren't out there at 7a, you weren't getting a chair! Staff should walk around and take towels off saved chairs. We saw lots of chairs never used, but they were saved. Overall, we made the best of the resort! The upgrade to STAR class was only worth it because of our butlers, Javier & Mafer! Without them, I'd suggest just purchasing Adult Scene and save the extra money.
