We recently took our first big family vacation to Planet Hollywood Cancun, and it exceeded all of our expectations! From start to finish, the trip offered a fantastic mix of activities that kept family members of every age entertained. Booking the Star Class upgrade was one of the best decisions we made. We received VIP treatment from day one, thanks to our dedicated team Ignacio, James, and Molly. Their attentive service and dedication made our stay seamless, as they went above and beyond to assist us with every request. We spent most of our sun-soaked days relaxing at the Star Pool. Aaron provided outstanding poolside service with an upbeat, infectious attitude, while Louis kept the drinks flowing smoothly at the pool bar. The real highlight of pool time, however, was Daniel from the entertainment team. His incredible energy engaged both kids and adults alike! Even when the weather turned rainy, Daniel’s spirit never dampened he stayed outdoors making friendship bracelets with the kids, creating lasting memories for our family. He truly brought a huge smile and incredible vibe everywhere he went. Between the delicious dining options, top-tier hospitality, and variety of evening entertainment that changed every single night, the resort left nothing to be desired. It was the perfect inaugural resort trip to start a new family tradition, and we are already counting down the days until we return!

I’ve been to better and worse AI. This is definitely not a 5 star by any means. Breakfast buffet was like most others and very forgettable. Lunch and dinner buffet were great. Breakfast Ala cart was basically just a longer wait for stuff you can get off the breakfast buffet. Ala cart restaurants were all great! Employees were all great! Entertainment was mostly forgettable and sub quality compared to what 5 star AI entertainment was like 5+ years ago. This resort had the most upselling I’ve experienced at any 5 star AI and it started weeks before the trip via email. When I replied to an email asking about wedding packages I got zero replies but more emails about the spa and other upcharge stuff available. The adult side check in was so generic and it felt like we were standing in line for a water park. No nice reception area, no welcome drink offered, tons of upgrades for charges offerings they make you sit through during check in. It felt like we were being dropped off at a service entrance. The place was beat up but very clean. The room had several light switches that did nothing. Several lights out. You get 2 beers in your mini fridge along with soda and water. If you want juice or extra beer it’s an upcharge. The lazy river, pools were great, beach is well maintained and they work HARD to keep it that way! The daily activities rarely happen at the pools so don’t trust the app for much of that. We don’t regret booking there but we won’t be back. If this is your first AI trip you’ll likely love it. If you have done several and have something to compare it to you’ll likely be disappointed

Excellent Staff
My husband and I stayed at Planet Hollywood Adult Scene for 10 days Oct 4-14 2026. We have been here before and we will return again. Edwar and Yomelly were our butlers this time and they were fantastic. Connecting on WhatsApp is quick and easy. Anything you need, they will provide it. They booked all of our dinners, checked on our pick up time and even decorated our room for my birthday and our anniversary. We had an issue with the air conditioning and the shower in our room and everyone worked quickly to sort it out. They moved us to another room and everything was much better. They wanted us to be as happy as possible. Food choices are plenty. We have no problem finding great choices. The Italian, the Indian and the Steakhouse were our favourites this time around. We had two beach massages and definitely recommend this as a nice relaxing part of your stay. Both Tere and Irene were fantastic. They are so welcoming and attentive. They check to see areas of focus and what type of pressure you prefer. They are very professional and it was a wonderful experience. There are many helpful and attentive servers at the pool. Marco helped my husband each morning to get towels and place them on our chairs. Fransisco was our assigned server for the cabana. He is very personable and funny. Jessica brought us drinks at our chairs by the pool each day. She knew just how we liked them and checked in on us regularly. Roger did the same with fun and humour. Nellie often served us lunch at the tables by the Star Class bar. Lots of choices for a good meal especially if you don’t want to walk all the way up to the buffet. Although we spent most of our time by the pool, we walked the beach most days. They try to remove the seaweed each morning. Some days there is more than on other days. I wish I could remember all of the names of the staff. We did not have any negative experiences. Overall we would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Best Butler
Planet Hollywood in Cancun is beautiful huge property. Our Butler Laura M. was the best she made dinner, spa and cabana reservations for us. We would text her and she would come right where we were and get things taken care of.

Planet Hollywood - Cancun
I had an amazing time during my five day stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun! It’s a beautiful, large resort with plenty to do. The room was great and the food was good.October is the perfect time of year to visit. It wasn’t crowded during my stay, which made it easy to relax and enjoy everything. My butlers, Edwar and Yomelly, were amazing and made my stay even better. If you can request them, it’s absolutely worth it! Be sure to eat at Shores restaurant and request Marlon. You will not be disappointed! I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ve already booked for next year
