Excellent place in wikiki facing the beach.
Nice room in 7th floor. Espresso coffee in the lobby area. In room Hawaiian Blend coffee. Use of beach/pool towels and ocean floats. Ice machine in our floor. Luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures. Reef-Safe Sunscreen, located in lobby.

Good location - local happy hour food
Comfortable room and a handy location. Unfortunately frequent slamming doors. Sad that no one seems to be considerate. Easy access to beach, restaurants and buses. Nice to have room refreshed every other day. Good laundry for mid week clean.

Shore is a good thing
Fifth hotel we've stayed at in Waikiki and it's one of the better ones, happily (although at least two of the others no longer exist and the Modern Honolulu is a shadow of the one we visited a decade ago apparently). The good points are: reception is nice, staff are all tremendously pleasant, helpful and cheerful, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and it's pretty cheap. The fridge in the room was also very welcome. Less good: we had no view to speak of and looked out onto the condos next door. Didn't even have a balcony. The wifi isn't great. And it's at the less fashionable end of Waikiki beach, so there isn't much round about that you'd care to visit. Lulu's is next door and is good for a sundowner at happy hour, but it's overpriced and the menu is very limited. Otherwise, to go out for a meal of an evening, you're going to be walking. This is just a minor point though. Mostly, the Park Shore was a good choice. There's a resort fee but at least you get some benefit from it - the complimentary sunscreen, after sun and towels for the pool are most welcome. You can pay quite a lot for not very much when it comes to hotels in Waikiki but the Park Shore seems to strike a good balance. Well worth a visit.

A gym at the end of the strip
For us Park Shore Waikiki is the best hotel and we have stayed here many times. Great service, close to so much - shopping and activities -and they have beautiful views. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoy the pool area too and love that the hotel and Lulu’s have pool service available now!

Wonderful stay at Park Shore Waikiki
My son and I were lucky enough to stay at the Park Shore for a week in August and we absolutely loved it. The location couldn’t be better, just over the road from the most beautiful beach. We splurged on an ocean view room which was well worth it. Lulu’s Restaurant was wonderful and especially good for me with gluten free choices. I highly recommend the Mochi Pancakes! I do not understand any of the negative comments - yes there might be a bit of sand in the lift but you are a stone’s throw from the beach and yes maybe the carpet/curtains/whatever could be updated but you are in paradise so who cares. Our room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We were glad to be staying at this end of Waikiki as it was less busy in general but a very easy walk to the centre. I only hope I can get back to Hawaii one day and I would definitely stay at the Park Shore again. Fingers crossed!
