Park MGM an oasis of calm
Great property, low-key even though it's just off the Strip. Second-to-none food offerings (Eataly rules). Only pockmark was a laborious check-in process due to understaffing and a glitchy app. But I'd still recommend it wholeheartedly if that aspect can be smoothed over.

Worst overall hotel experience
One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had and I travel a lot!! For such a large hotel they were greatly understaffed throughout hotel. Very frequently there was only one person behind a desk to help midday and evenings (I.e, front desk, concierge, restaurant and club entries, etc) The room quality (a misnomer) was by far the worst part of the experience closely followed by lack of customer service! Upon check in we were given a room on the 13th floor. Immediately coming off elevator, there was a strong smell of sewage which carried throughout floor and in the room. We changed flours but room we were assigned was badly in need of renovation. Furniture was badly chipped and scratched, and sofa stained. Carpets were quite dirty and old as well. Bed pillows were strewn across bed as if someone had just left. Called housekeeping 3 times and no one ever came. As a matter of fact, housekeeping did not service room at all from Friday to Sunday checkout - even after my calling them. Poor service continued at the pool area where we rented a cabana for the day. While our waiter was pleasant we had to repeatedly ask for things like menus, and for misters to be turned on - which never occurred. Only good part is that hotel is smoke free and close to airport. In checking out, I mentioned these things to desk clerk who offered to remove the “resort fees” which was appreciated but the gesture could not undo the terrible experience of staying here. Only thing they do well and promptly at Park MGM is take your money. Vegas has a lot of great hotels. This is not one of them.

Clean, spacious rooms with lots of plug ins
It was ready when we needed it, the app made it so easy to check in and out without standing in line to do any of it. Happy the room was so big with lots of space for luggage and seating. With everyone trying to get everything charged up, appreciated all the plug ins around the room.

PARK MGM is a hidden gem
Stayed 2 nights at PARK MGM and really enjoyed it. The place is very appealing, with the park/greenery theme throughout. Non smoking keeps that fresh air feeling alive. Very busy casino/ lots of restaurant options. We loved EATALY - fun, unique open air dining. We were on the 25th floor and our view was of the back side of the strip. Nice remote control blinds/shades, lots of outlets and bedside USB outlets too. One negative is there isn’t a convenience store nearby, so plan accordingly or you’re paying $7 for a 12 Oz bottle of water and $12 for a bag of chips/snacks. Rooms are very comfortable, but not much storage/vanity area in the bathroom. The location of PARK MGM is great for visiting some fun, busy casinos (NYNY,BELLAGIO,ARIA and COSMO) all accessible by a short walk or tram ride, which is easily accessed by signs in the hotel. Very quiet room, elevators worked great and not much waiting for elevators. Really enjoyed it here!!

Front Desk saves the day
We made the mistake of arriving the same time as the fans for the Golden Knights game, so we were a bit frazzled by the time we got to the front desk. However, Lexi Weaver was an angel and so very helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for places to eat in the hotel, helped us with our parking and did it all with patience and a smile. As someone who travels frequently for work and stays in a lot of hotels around the country, I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful job Lexi does with her guests.
