over all good experience. Even after proving clear instruction food was not prepared according our requirement. while booking they said they will make as per your requirement but not in real case. Entertainment location and most staff are friendly.

This was our family’s first international trip since our daughter was born (she’s 3) and wow, we were so impressed! We utilized the Family Concierge program at Paradisus, and our concierge, Salvador, went above and beyond to provide us with our dream vacation. Our room was spacious and kept clean by the fantastic housekeeping staff. We had a pool view and it was also very close to the beach. We had no issues with sargassum on our visit (late October into early November), and the pools and ocean were the perfect temperature. Our toddler enjoyed the water park and kids’ pools, and my husband and I really liked the spa experience also. The highlight of our trip was being there during Día de Muertos. The resort put on a spectacular event on 2 November for all the guests. Ten teams of hotel staff each made beautiful, creative ofrendas throughout the center of the property, complete with intricate explanations and even performances, for a friendly competition. I was kindly invited to be a judge, and I was just blown away by the teams and what they built. It was such an honor to learn about this beautiful holiday and all the traditions. Our family enjoyed everything about our stay, the food, the beautiful property, and the hospitality from everyone on the Paradisus team. We can’t wait to come back! It was a perfect first trip for us.

Pretty Paradisus!!
The Paradisus is a very pretty resort built around a natural Mangrove, which you pass through to get to the beach! The place exudes a feeling of excitement, for the kids, and calmness, for the Adults. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the family section with a concierge!! her name is Cynthia Delgado! and she was wonderful!! very cheerful and did her work with pride and understanding her clients! She was always ready to help us anyway she could. The room was always cleaned on time and the fridge always had refreshments! Too bad the balcony hot tub did not work properly, needed 1hr. to fill up, good thing the inside tub worked just fine!! The Buffets were neat, the staff was very pleasant, and the food was delicious! The Ala Carts were plentiful, service and food was very good, especially the steak house (SAL) the meat was grilled right and tender, the Italian was also very good!! All in all, they had a great selection of restaurants to choose from and the gardens in that section of the resort are truly beautiful with gardens and waterways throughout! The other negative was the umbrellas in the beach areas; most were either broken or you couldn't open them!! Good thing the resort wasn't overly booked because we were always able to get under an umbrella that worked. Overall, the value was met with the beauty and cleanliness of the resort plus a very friendly staff! Next time we'll try staying in the adult's section.
