This is our hotel in San Francisco whenever we are in town.
A Beautiful hotel with superb service and very accommodating staff. From the front desk, to the restaurant and the lobby team, a team of professionals who made us feel welcome. Rena at Pied Piper is a delight. Great wagyu burger. Awesome housekeeping team.

Beautiful Hotel
Lovely grand hotel at a sensible price. Right in the heart of the financial district, a few minutes walk from Salesforce Park and the Bay Bridge docks. Beautifully decorated rooms, exceptionally clean and extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely stay there again, highly recommended.

An exceptional stay
Once again, a fantastic experience. Received an upgrade to a suite as a Titanium member. The Garden Court is spectacular, and a wonderful venue for having breakfast. We had an excellent dinner at the Pied Piper, and it was impressive that the kitchen there could turn out such high quality food.

My new favorite in San Francisco
I had the opportunity to visit the Palace for one night during the Labor Day weekend. I so enjoyed that stay, and the wonderful suite upgrade, that I booked a longer stay a few weeks later. I was not disappointed. Although I didn't receive a fabulous suite upgrade, as they were sold out, I did get a very commodious deluxe larger room with a view out to Market Street. I loved the space and comfort of the room and housekeeping was very efficient in cleaning the room early and providing nightly turndown service. Staff throughout the property were professional, helpful and solicitous. My companion and I felt pampered and well taken care of. I loved the Byredo toiletries. The scent was intoxicating. Despite our room overlooking busy Market Street, the room was very quiet and afforded us both a good night's sleep. There was a bit of noise that seeped in from the adjacent room through the connecting door, but once I filled the door sill space with a towel, it was greatly reduced. Breakfast at the Garden Court was very enjoyable, especially given the absolutely stunning surroundings. It's unusual to have such a grandiose environment in North America. One could have dry toast with water and still enjoy the experience. The food offerings were very good, but disappointing that the egg station was only open on the weekend. I loved the dim sum and smoked salmon that the Concierge advised me to sample. I was surprised to see chicken wings and breakfast burritos offered on various days during our stay. Unusual, but so tasty. The one weak spot was the quality of the baked goods. Croissants were supermarket quality and there were no other options apart from rather ordinary sliced bread. The sweet pastries were very sugary, and while they did satiate one's sweet tooth, they were a bit ordinary. I know there are much better baked goods available in San Francisco, e.g. ONE65, so it was sad to see the bar set lower at the Garden Court. I would encourage them to match the quality with the surroundings. I would gladly pay a bit more for an improvement. That said, I paid only a $10 per person upcharge for the buffet from the complimentary continental breakfast I receive as a Bonvoy Titanium member, so there's that. Charge me $15 and improve the baked goods to make the calories worth the extra pounds. Nonetheless, I love my stays at the Palace and will make it my hotel of choice when visiting beautiful San Francisco

Exceptional Hospitality at The Palace Hotel SF.
The Palace Hotel is a true gem is one of my favorite hotels in NorCal. It consistently exceeds expectations in every aspect. As for my most recent visit — from the moment I arrived, the level of service provided by every staff member was nothing short of stellar. The valet and luggage assistance greeted me with warmth, and the front desk staff made check-in and check-out incredibly seamless and efficient. One employee who truly stood out was Isaiah. His genuine kindness and willingness to go above and beyond in assisting me when I checked out. The room itself was beautiful, maintaining the high standards I have come to expect from The Palace. During my stay for business, I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Mitchell and Julia Rodas, both of whom were exceptional and amazing to collaborate with. As someone in the service and hospitality industry, I can confidently say that it is rare these days to encounter such genuine and intentional hospitality. The entire staff at The Palace Hotel consistently exceeds expectations, and I look forward to my next visit.
