Jan 12, 2026new year’s eve fireworks were incredible, location is the best!!
I booked the outrigger beachcomber by mistake. when we arrived we realized we were on the wrong side of the street. I thought I had booked the Wiakiki Beach Resort. this was new year’s eve and hotels were so full. we ended up walking over to the outrigger wiakiki Beach Resort and they were so kind. i had an agent on the phone and a lady at the checkin desk both trying to help. somehow we got a room and were able to stay the week we had planned with an ocean view balcony. the other hotel was awesome also. i had booked through hotels.con and they gave me a refund for the beachcomber. this wiakiki beach hotel is so convenient to restaurants and shopping. we had teenagers with us that loved it as well. i did laundry, we sat by the pool and rented umbrella and chairs on the beach. it was all wonderful.

Nice hotel, very busy, a bit dated, had to move room because of outside noise on street side, avoid that those rooms, lift system an absolute disaster we complained and they say there were plans to refurbish and replace in the future

End of our US trip leaving through Hawaii
After a long trip around the US, we departed through Hawaii, so we could enjoy a relax on the beaches of Waikiki. The outrigger was a great place to spend the last week great location and helpful staff. The cleaning crew was very helpful and the reception staff were super helpful, with a particular call out to Kristina - the super star! Thanks again!

Beautiful Stay
Beautiful resort! Great views, great adult and family friendly pools. Really close to where the boats for Manta Rays are. Will be staying again!

Location is great BUT that it is the only positive. Rooms - tired, outdated. In urgent need of modernisation for the price Value - LOW! Food - breakfast is awful. Very unhealthy White bread / deep fried with a sprinkling of fruit . Service - unfriendly / unwelcoming on reception. Lovely staff in the Club Lounge. Noise level - high Sleeping - pillows uncomfortable, double beds small
