    A Great Getaway

A great stay that was made even better by Stanley, the manager, who did his best to get us rooms together (3 Families). Susana, who cleaned our room meticulously every day, remembered our names and was very attentive to whatever we required. John Diaz was also so friendly and always cleaning around the resort as well. We were Club members and Frank greeted us every morning and Teresa was always getting us drinks or cleaning the table after our big family. She remembered our names and the grandchildren as well. What a beautiful resort and a little further away from a lot of the noise and action of Waikiki. The only downside was that the pool was cold which didn't deter the grandchildren!

    Amazing honeymoon

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon to Hawaii ! Our stay at outrigger reef Waikiki beach resort was so nice. Our room was always clean and our house keeper Mary was so sweet! Loved running into her in the hallway! She was always so friendly. We would definitely come back to outrigger if we ever take another trip to Hawaii.

    Great Hotel!

I gave our hotel a 4/5… it is a beautiful hotel… you can walk right outside onto the beach. There are rentals at the pool and the beach. The people that work at the hotel are very friendly. There is a place to get leis- fresh and not fresh… there are stores to shop in… the rooms are great! Very clean and up to date. My only “would’ve been nicer” was… either when checking in… being told to make restaurant reservations asap… because showing up in the morning to get one the same day… we couldn’t get in until 8:45pm… This hotel has GREAT access to all kinds of shops and restaurants in the city too! All walkable!

Thank you for the kindness, Mary and Outrigger staff

Our stay at the Outrigger was excellent. The staff was very kind and attentive, especially our housekeeper Mary. She went out of her way to visit with our family each time we saw her in the hallway, and she even remembered our names. She did a great job every day with our room, too.

    Overall, good experience!

Overall, I had a good experience at the Reef! I had asked for a room with a view of diamond head and they gave me a room on the 10th floor that had a wonderful room with a great view of diamond head. Also, if you stay on the ninth or 10th floor, there is an express elevator, which is great because it was rarely crowded! my room was cleaned and freshened every day by a wonderful lady named Rui Mei. All the staff seemed courteous and helpful, and the concierge was a great place to discuss locations to visit and the different tour options. You could literally walk out the back of the hotel and be at the beach. They also rented umbrellas and chairs and set them up for you. It was great to be that close to the ocean how ever you had to be careful when leaving the shoreline into the ocean because it was quite rocky. reef has one main restaurant that was quite good and the service was also good. The only downside was since it was the only main restaurant it usually filled up in the evenings so you had to either eat early or late or make reservations the day before. You could also go to the pool bar and they had a decent selection of bar food and a good assortment of beer, wine, and cocktails. I wasn’t impressed with the pool because it was in the middle of the courtyard and you could not see the ocean from the pool. I wasn’t there for the pool so that was not an issue. they also had an ABC convenience store inside the hotel that was very useful.
