Nickelodeon Mexico - Amazing week with our large family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had 20 people & 5 rooms total for the extended family (multiple birthdays). So much fun all week long. • Extra thanks to Mike and Daniel (10/10) • Aqua Nick Water Park was amazing. • Staff is very good and professional – Great job of employee training. • We enjoyed all the shows (just one cultural show was slow and younger kids fell asleep) • Rest all the shows were a lot of fun and fast paced. o The orange carpet show at Main stage and the Family Glow party at Snick lounge were out of this world. • Really good food at all the restaurants (WOW A+). Good burger and the Pizza restaurant are the best. o Kids went totally crazy with room service some days but its so good (I don’t know how they do it so well) • We did do one off site excursion and its good as it gives a change from the same daily routine. Personally, I think a 1 day off site excursion on a 7-day trip is good otherwise 7 days is just too long. If you are going for 5 or 4 days, then excursions are not needed. • PS – please don’t leave your young kids at the resort / Aqua Nick / kids club and leave the resort. I think there is a fee attached if you leave. Even more serious what if something happened when you are off site (may be heart attack or other emergency) what will happen to the kids…In Canada I think you could get in a lot of trouble maybe even child services may get involved if you ever did that with a hotel. We will 100% come back in 2025 or 2026. Honestly, I just don’t understand some of the negative reviews…. At least for us there were no complaints, and we were very happy.

Perfect place for kids and adults alike

The whole trip was awesome but the most memorable people were Myki and Daniel who rushed to the rescue for big and small things alike. Their professionalism is parallel to not setting the highest standard for 5 star resorts. The rooms are marvelous the food is vast and flavorful. Thanks Nick for another great vacation.

A high end tourist trap. Not worth your money, time and energy.

I went on an all inclusive vacation with my family including my 5 and almost 2 year old daughters to this hotel I February 2024. Pros. Decent food and a well designed public water park. Some smiles from some properly trained employees. Restaurant cooks and servers do a good job. Cons. At the moment of check in, the first thing that they require are $500 dollars as deposit. The hostess of the yatch restaurant invited me to a bottle of champagne as a “gift” once I said thank you, why not, she handed over some paper for me to sign saying that it was just a formality to know who the guest is. I never received a bottle of champagne. At the moment of check out at the counter, I was told that I had a bill to pay for 3,800 Mexican pesos for a bottle of champagne and a VIP room at their bar area. Of course I complained and the woman said. Ok then I need your credit card to charge you 1 cent in order to give you back the $500 dollar deposit…. She charged MX3,800 pesos, MX4,000 pesos for god knows what and I didn’t get my 500 dollar deposit. What a scam! They take advantage of one being on vacation with the children when most vulnerable. I had to contact my credit card company in hopes of getting my money back. The minibar is not refilled everyday, more like once every 3 nights. Smoker next door in a family hotel and no one from the hotel employees cares. Beach is a shallow bed rock with some sand. I read a detailed review placed by someone in 2022 last night and it is still exactly the same but worse. Nicely designed hotel from Nickelodeon but the worst management that I have ever seen in the hotel industry since many of the employees do whatever they want and scam the guests that are from other countries. Unsatisfied people that take advantage of foreign guests.

    Many dollar signs

This was more expensive than we'd originally though for a family trip. Everything costs extra! All the reasons you would book a resort like this somehow cost extra, the waterpark, the characters, the better food. Everything is spread out so far you spend half your day traveling when you're supposed to be on vacation!!!

    Nickelodeon - amazing week!!

My family and I had the best week at this resort! We spent almost every day at the Aqua Nick Water Park. We highly recommend it! Cristian one of the entertainment staff workers was amazing with our two boys. He always made them feel included and welcomed! He even took the time during his shift breaks to hang out with our kids, keeping them constantly smiling! This trip wouldn’t have been the same without Cristian! We hope to see you again next winter 2025!! :)
