  Avoid this place, trust me!

  I don’t even know where to begin. As frequent travelers who are not picky by any means, we were in disbelief over the conditions and service at this resort. I never leave reviews but this deserves one as people need to know what they are getting into. You are assigned a “concierge” when you arrive on sight. They are only there to show you a presentation, not to assist you. Unknowingly, we asked our concierge to help us book our dining reservations for the nights we were there. He helped us the second night but after we showed no interest in the presentation, we were never helped again. We had to dine at the buffet which had long lines and horrible food. The food throughout is mostly bad but the buffet is terrible! Room service is bland and you will not get half of what you ordered but it was probably the most tolerable food on the resort. The restaurants might have been good but we wouldn’t know. Drinks are so watered down, they literally taste like water with a splash of whatever you asked for. Our room was dark, dirty and dingy. Our do not disturb sign did not work. We asked our concierge for a sign to avoid any issues. Our request was completely ignored and the maid walked in on me naked. The water park is nice but be prepared to go really early or grease some palms to get a seat. The workers over there were great and we were happy to tip them. We just wanted to feel like we weren’t bothering the staff which felt like everywhere we went. The Italian restaurant waiter just looked like he hated us. We just had to laugh after a certain point. The circus and magic shows were a hit with our son. A positive on a really negative experience. Laughably bad, expensive experience. At least our kid didn’t seem to notice!

  Avoid! Not worth price and frustrating with little kids

  Nickelodeon Punta Cana — not worth the price & definitely avoid with young kids. Overall value This resort is significantly overpriced for what it offers. The beach is nice and the property looks attractive, but the overall experience does not justify the cost. Check-in and room issues Check-in was slow and disorganized. We were traveling with three children under 10 and arrived around 6pm after being awake since early morning. Despite having a Flat Suite confirmed and paid for, we were told it was unavailable. I spent over an hour at the front desk trying to resolve this. We were placed in a different room the first night and had to move again the next day. Very frustrating for a family. Food and dining Food quality was mediocre. The buffet had long lines and several meat dishes were served cold. At Aqua Bite near the water park, the pizza was badly undercooked. Dinner reservations are poorly managed — they open at 9am on a clunky website and are gone almost immediately. Tuna tartare with avocado at the supposedly good Italian restaurant was FROZEN. Solid like a hockey puck. Water park hours The water park operates from 10am to 5pm, which makes little sense given that sunset is after 7pm. Prime family time is lost. Nickelodeon experience For a Nickelodeon-branded resort, character interactions were minimal unless you pay extra for character breakfasts or themed dinners. Bars and service Service was slow throughout the resort. Most bars had only one bartender working, including the main outdoor bar in the central evening hangout area, leading to long lines and poor service. Final thoughts This resort charges 5-star prices but delivers a 3-star experience at best. We would not return or recommend it without major improvements

  PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!! THINK TWICE!

  Ok…..for all of you trying to figure out what reviews are REAL and which ones are manufactured……heads up….this is a REAL ONE! Like most of you, before we booked the trip we read through a bunch of reviews. We’re on our last day here (Thank God) and here’s what we’ve experienced. YES….your stomach will go through it on your first day or two. All those reviews are legit. 2nd of all, unless you’re good eating burger and fries for lunch every day…..the lunch options suck! If you enjoy room service options……those options are limited as well. 3rd thing…..if you’re wanting to book Spacewalkers for dinner……unless you’re good at eating at 9pm, I wouldn’t even waste your time. You have to book reservations through the app every morning starting at 9am. The app will lead you to believe you can book a different time to Spacewalkers but when you go to confirm, it will give you an error. Every time! We went to the concierge service desk to ask for help and share our concerns……to my surprise (not really) there was a line there all complaining about the same issue. Needless to say they DIDNT help accommodate anyone. When asked to speak to their supervisor, they just fired back with sarcasm and said I could file a “complaint.” Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Which is on par with their quality of food. Day 1 I also Requested a Pizza Party Character dinner with the TNMT and NO ONE ever got back to me to schedule. We know it was a cheaper cost vacation. You truly get what you pay for. My advice…..pay a little more and go elsewhere. Not that they care…..but we’ll Never be back!

  Hand food and mouth disease

  We also contracted hand foot and mouth disease at the resort as the previous person commented. Unfortunately I feel the disinfecting isn't up to standard with this being all child resort. I took my child to see a doctor, who charged me $324 for the visit!!!I tried to talk to the manager to inform her of my concern, who was "busy" and didn't contact me later . I am disappointed that there isnt a better protocol in place for these type of situations. I also noticed that the high chairs were very dirty at the buffet and restaurants. I spent half of my vacation stuck in the room with my sick child, which was rough. Not the best vacation.

  Lots of fun for the little ones.

  We just returned from our first trip to Nickelodeon Punta Cana. We are grandparents and travelled to meet our son and his family - daughters 3 and 5. Overall thoughts: It was a great resort for little kids. They had fun at the waterpark, pool, ocean and had fun meeting characters. It is a beautiful resort in a beautiful location. Positives: Our check in was great, we arrived very early and were not able to check in. Lisbeth was friendly and helpful and we came back later to get our room. The beach was great. Big rolling waves that can be dangerous. I have never been to a resort with lifeguards that were so "in tune". They were not watching their phones, they were watching the water. They are maybe a little overzealous with their whistles, but better safe than sorry. The resort is pretty, great foliage and overall, a friendly Team to serve. What can be worked on: Some parts of the resort are pretty worn. The daybeds by the pool could use a good cleaning or new covers. There weren't a lot of activities that we saw. The Nick club games were incredibly expensive. I would have liked to have seen boogie boards to use in the waves. The waves were perfect for that kind of activity. There was a bouncy castle at the pool one day, but I would like to see more. The biggest negative was the food. I did not enjoy. For me, it was the biggest drawback. A few healthier options would have been good. Maybe a smoothie bar with the coffee where you can actually put protein rich ingredients in. Overall, it was a good experience. A rating of 4 feels too high - thinking more like 3.75
