Good hotel for conference
This is a centrally located, comfortable hotel used often for conferences. It's laid out in a confusing manner and I got lost often for the conference. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Food for the conference was very good - especially the desserts! The room I held a meeting with was dark and we couldn't get anyone to come to turn on more lights. Concierge service was OK. Staff serving meals were terrific.

Nice hotel, great location
My wife and I stayed here because I attended a conference here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel was comfortable. The location is excellent in the French Quarter. The hotel does seem to be showing it’s age and could use a bit of a touch up. More like new fixtures and a fresh coat of paint rather than a huge remodel.

great location
was a great stay for work. it is close to all the great food and entertainment in the area. the hotel is clean and moderna, the M club is excellent and one of the best i've been to since before the pandemic. room was clean, large and comfortable however just be aware that you'll hear the bands and such parading down canal street. also the wi-fi is spotty which is not good when you are trying to finish up work in the evenings.

Wonderful view
We booked 2 beds for 2 nights. Unfortunately we could not book another night due to price increase after we got there. We had a great view of the Mississippi. Rooms were clean. small fridge and coffee machine provided. Its a great location right at corner of French quarter. You can take a 15 minute walk to Cafe Du Monde for breakfast if you want a beignet. We tried one place across the street but it was too doughy. The valet fee is pretty steep so we parked at the Canal Place Mall down the street for a lot less. There is a nice pantry on premise if you want snacks.

Item stolen from room - poor hotel service
I had an item stolen from my room while I was out during the daytime, presumably by a hotel employee. I reported to the hotel staff and security, who completed paperwork. Despite 15 e-mails and a phone call, I usually get no response and when I do, I am fobbed off. I have asked to make a formal complaint, but no one will tell me how to do so. I once spoke to a Debra Reed by phone, who assured me I could make a claim but no information was given and there no further communication. Given the inadequate response by the hotel I asked about contacting the police and intend to do so. The service has been absolutely appalling, especially considering the money paid for a 4-night stay. I have repeatedly insisted I should be reimbursed and although have been told a claim can be made, no one will tell me how to do so.
