Long Wine Weekend with Friends
We stayed here for 3 nights in Nov 2023 with three other couples for a long wine tasting weekend. I have Lifetime Titanium status but did not have enough points so we paid a standard rate for the room for our stay. We booked the basic King Bed room. Upon check-in I was told we had been upgraded to a room with the garden view. It was a good size room with plenty of space for the two of us. Note, that this hotel has no suites, every room is the same size, some look over the parking lot while others look over the gardens and/or courtyard. The room, although it looked liked it was a throwback style from the '80s, were in excellent condition. Everything was clean and even though the furniture styling looked dated, everything was clean and in mint condition. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and modern. Great air conditioning (ice cold; not like some hotels that really limit the AC). The thing that really made the room look old was the popcorn ceiling but again it was clean. The bed was comfy with good pillows and we both got good nights sleep during our stay. The common areas were very welcoming, especially the outside firepits and couches. They made for nice places to start or end our days. The M lounge was the bare bones and quite disappointing for a full service Marriott in Napa. I realize this is not a Marriott lounge in Europe (they are fully stocked with incredible breakfast options as well and evening food and beverages), but it was an embarrassing breakfast buffet with only the most basic offerings. Scrambled eggs, sausage and soft mushy hash brown triangles. Crappy unhealthy yogurt loaded with sugar, basic coffee & tea. Small boxes of cereal, 2% and whole milk in dispensers only, no small cartons to take out. The only beverages available for take out were cold water and soda. The orange juice was good though! Overall though, the standard low end Marriott lounge breakfast offerings that I would expect to see at maybe at an airport Marriott, not one in Napa. I would expect something higher in Napa valley and for the price of paying for this resort. The gym was excellent! Lots of different equipment. Peloton bikes, six treadmills, and plenty of space to work out. We used it every morning. Upon check-in there was no recognition of my titanium status, no welcome gift or anything in the room during our stay. The welcome gift is written in the terms and conditions of Marriott Bonvoy rules, and when I brought it to the manager's attention, Blossom and I had an very nice discussion. She was professional and we were able to come to an agreement regarding acceptable compensation for the lack of a welcome gift. Overall a very good stay. Spacious, clean, modern rooms. Nice common areas. Excellent gym. Pleasant interaction with management and staff. Just sub-standard M lounge offerings, a lack of status recognition, and the dated looking décor resulted in 4/5 rating. I would certainly stay here again if in the area, however I may also check out the Westin nearby since it is also a Marriott owned property that looks to be a much higher scale then this Marriott (albeit 50% more expensive).

Incredible Experience in Napa!
The service and amenities at the hotel were great! I’ve been at Marriott properties almost weekly for 20 years and I would say the service was near the top. Shedrick out from was incredible !!! Also, the All American breakfast was the best that I’ve had … don’t sleep on the Chicken Apple Sausage!

Thanks to Shedrick who went of and beyond to make our trip enjoyable.
I spent very little time in the hotel. However, my time spent there was made pleasant by Shedrick who was very welcoming and accommodating. He went of and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. However, Yvette the waitress in the hotel restaurant was very disrespectful to myself and the persons I travelled with. Yvette refused to wait on the table where we sat and never acknowledged us when we entered the hotel. Once seated, she continued to ignore our table and NEVER came to get our food order. We had to solicit the assistance of the bartender who took not only our drink order but also our food order. We observed Yvette provide service to everyone else who walked in the restaurant, while refusing to acknowledge that we were sitting there. Yvette went out of her way to ignore our presence, which was very offensive to myself and the 2 ladies dining with me. It is my hope that this will be addressed to prevent anyone else from having this experience. Martha Creecy

Do not stay here
I can’t believe this is a Marriott. The service is beyond horrible! They always try to excuse every issue and they don’t have the extras they advertise like yoga etc. I wish they would have been honest and not wasted my time.

Wonderful start to our wine country weekend
We found ourselves with only one day in Napa, and we made the best choice in staying here! Sherdick, Blossom, Troy, and team were exceptionally accommodating! Their genuine hospitality was a breath of fresh air, and made us want to stay the entire weekend! We loved the evening wine tasting, and the team made great recommendations for dinner and must-do activities. We can’t wait to visit and spend more time exploring the property and enjoying the spa!
