This is a very tired hotel. The rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The only positive were the breakfasts which were good. Beware! I had a silver necklace stolen from my bedside table. The staff at reception were totally unconcerned and did nothing when I reported the missing jewellery to them. Keep your valuable items with you and don’t leave anything of any value lying about your hotel room. Better still - avoid the hotel!

Apr 12, 2026Good location and pool, but disappointing value for money
I stayed at Meliá Sevilla in a family room and unfortunately it did not live up to expectations, especially given the price point of €360 per night. The room itself felt quite tired and in need of refurbishment, and the same applied to the hallways, which looked worn and not particularly well maintained. The overall finishing felt rather cheap, which is not what you expect at this price level. In particular, the parental bedroom had a noticeable chemical smell, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. There were also some inconsistencies in service. Amenities for the children, which I understand should be included, were only provided after we had already checked out—and only after we explicitly asked for them. That felt like a missed opportunity to enhance the family experience. On the positive side, the hotel does offer a large swimming pool with a great view, which is quite rare in Sevilla and definitely a highlight, especially for families. The on-site parking underneath the building is also very convenient. Overall, while there are some strong features, the value for money and attention to detail did not meet expectations.

Just returned back from a four night stay at melia. Booked a premium room very spacious cosy clean room with a balcony. All staff are very nice and pleasant. Breakfast was nice. The pool area was very busy. the only issues we had at the pool side were people leaving their belongings and not returning for hours when it states "if no return in 45mins towels will be picked up: this did not happen from any staff. The location is around 20 minutes' walk to the central part , Plaza espana it's a few mins walk away. A very nice hotel would u stay again, yes.

This is a lovely hotel and completely made our stay in Seville complete. The staff are all so pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and the hotel is very well situated. The best part was the pool - a fabulous way to spend the afternoon after strolling around Seville. Just perfect all round
