Granada visit
On arrival we experienced problems with our previously booked reservation. It took 2 hrs to get sorted. Very disorganised and no apologies given or even any effort to recompense for the inconvenience. I have stayed in Melia hotels previously and expected the same 4 star standard . The rooms tiny no English speaking Tv stations , breakfast very poor selection , staff friendly but seemed to lack training . On arrival we were offered extras some of which I would have expected as standard in a 4 star Hotel. Would not recommend would advise to book 3 star cheaper and same standard . On the plus side the shower was great .

Great location
The hotel is clean and nice staffs. The room we got was spacious enough for 2 with table and chairs. Great location near shopping and restaurants and near cathedral. Close to bus stops. Only complaint is absolutely no privacy for the bathroom with sliding door.

Not as good as it was
We have stayed at this hotel four times, three times before renovations and one time after. We used to love this hotel but I’m afraid it has changed, and not for the better. The room was lovely plenty of space for everything including luggage bags. But the breakfast which was once amazing is now dire and boring. The food was the same everyday which is not good if you’re staying for seven days. The food was also cold. Breakfast staff were very good at clearing tables quickly. After once loving this hotel I think this will be our last stay here. Come on Melia get back to quality breakfasts there is plenty of other hotels in Granada.

Horrible experience !
The hotel which is in great area of midtown Granada looks good ! We got a room which was smaller than we have ever(!) stayed in world wide !!!! instead of King bed as we paid for ...we got a bed smaller than queen bed .... one night stand , one chair .....forget about opening 2 suitcases , plus we had 2 trolls and 2 backpacks .... it was a horrible experience ... the room was probably 11-12 sqft ! it was humiliating that the chain takes its travelers as sardines )-: Never will we stay again in the Melia chain !

Great stay in the Level area of the hotel!
Our three night stay in the Level area was great. Very personalized service and good attention to detail. Staff quickly recognized us and were engaging at every interaction. The Level lounge was well worth the additional cost, with a very calm space to enjoy the views of the Alhambra, whether during breakfast or anytime during the day. The included drinks/coffee and snacks during the day and a long happy hour was also appreciated.
