Staff is excellent. They really care about the quality of your stay and so very friendly. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms are comfortable. Very loud when windy but not much can be done about that. Very modern. Would have given 5 stars but noticed a few things that were not adequately cleaned in the room. Location good but I personally wish we would have stayed closer to Gracia.

Хубав хотел в сърцето на Барселона 981358914 Nice hotel in the heart of Barcelona 981358914 The hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance of the main attractions and currently has good transport links to the airport and other key locations in Barcelona. Very friendly and smiling staff, thanks appreciated to Daniel and the reception team. The rooms offer convenience and comfort typical of the Melia chain. The breakfast was more than good.

Sub par service, checked in on a Wednesday after traveling from Madrid. The first hiccup of the stay was the safe being broken, I called the front desk only to find that the phone cord was frayed and the staff member could not hear me. I finally got through and a technician was sent to repair the broken items in the room, this caused a 2 hour delay that prevented me from getting along with my day. The 2nd issue that came up was, our Room was overlooked by the cleaning crew twice. The final nail in the coffin was at checkout. I was told that I had a 4 euro balance for making a phone call, I politely told the lady that the only call made was to the front desk on my first day there. She proceeded to waiving the charge but upon arrival to the US the charge showed up on my Apple Card a day after. Would not be staying here when I go back to Barcelona.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel
My room was so comfortable and had all the items I needed for a great stay. The hotel is in walking distance of quite a few great places. The staff were kind, helpful and breakfast services wonderful. They had recommendations and guide/advice. The restaurant attached had great choices and service was excellent.

We stayed 6 nights at Melia Sarria Barcelona at the end of August and start of September 2024. Our room was entered without force whilst we were at breakfast. My wallet was in the safe. My wife's handbag was on the bed. All of our cash was stolen including $450AUD and over 100 Euro. Our passports, credit cards and mobile phones were untouched. I went straight to hotel management. They advised me to go to the police as they are not permitted to view CCTV without police presence. We spent 3 hours at the police station and have heard no more from them. Hotel management told me they had notified their insurance company. I received an email from the insurance company saying that I have no recourse. They did not mention that CCTV had been reviewed nor police attendance. I notice going back through reviews of this hotel that there is quite a number of thefts from rooms. The hotel itself was fine and comfortable. the theft spoilt our entire visit to Barcelona. Never again!!. We were told that Barcelona has a pickpocket problem out on the streets. that is why we trusted our hotel safe and locked hotel room.
