    Dependable but not fancy

A quiet, clean, and safe hotel. The pool is really nice. Breakfast is adequate, and dinner if you need it is just OK. Our rooms (we stayed twice) were huge and comfortable. Just a little dark and dated. My only negative comment is the location. It is not in walking distance to anything touristy. But Uber was inexpensive and easily available. Staff were polite but distant.

    Stay Elsewhere

I booked a family room for me and my sister. Aircon was either too cold or too hot. All attention seemed to be focused on the master bedroom with bath robe, slippers, safe, toiletries. The 2nd bedroom had 2 small beds and a mirror with hardly any room to move. It was dark, and not all the spotlights worked. The TVs had to be switched to English but kept jumping back to spanish. Whenever reception was called, they failed to deliver or I had to go downstairs in order to pick up items missing from the 2nd bedroom. The housekeeping was below standard, and they never replaced towels and bathrobes or dusted or swept the rooms. The staff are polite but can't seem to make a decision without referring to Daniel, which caused delays. You can order food online, but the food on the menu isn't what you actually receive. The gym officially opened at 7am but was unlocked at 5am. Using the gym before 7am meant walking through a dark room and pool area before you arrive at the gym where the air con didn't kick in until after 6am. If there is another hotel with an apartment layout, stay there instead.

    Great for families!

This is a great place to stay with family. I came with my husband and two kids (ages 5 & 9). We stayed for 3 nights. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great. My kids loved the pool. The staff was very professional and friendly. A special thank you to Dwayne for providing suggestions and answering all my questions about Panama City and to Nicholas for arranging transportation for us to go to the Gamboa Rainforest Reserve. Highly recommend! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Panama City!

    All around excellent

All in all the five-star experience. I only wish I had moved into this hotel at the beginning of my 11-day stay. I moved from another Marriott property after 6 days and spent five nights at this hotel. The room is enormous and very comfortable. I was put on the 12th floor with an amazing view. Climate control worked perfectly although it was not adjustable. Thank God it was already set on an Arctic 65° f temperature. Swimming pool and gym or top notch. I only wish there were blinds in the gym because going in the afternoon means some directly in your face on all of the cardio equipment. Swimming pool is large and sparkling clean as is the hot tub. Parking is free and quite safe inside the hotel garage. Most of the staff at the front desk or extremely friendly and helpful. However a surprising number of employees do not speak English adequate to communicate with tourists. For my purposes, the location was perfect. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. And the hotel restaurant far exceeded my expectations. Check in was effortless. And there is essentially no check out, you just leave like most hotels. There is laundry on every floor. And the process worked well for me, but it is oddly complex. The front desk keeps a limited number of laundry machine payment cards. If the payment card is already checked out but the machine is vacant, it's impossible to use the machine. I strongly recommend rethinking that process. If I'm in Panama City again, this will definitely be my preferred lodging.

Great long stay location in Panama

After having stayed some 30 days here, I can tell you without hesitation, that the staff and management are tops in my book. Due to the protest of the Mine, my tour of Panama was cut short as there was no transportation to and from the outer cities i.e. Bocas et al. The staff made my stay as enjoyable as possible under the circumstances. They were high spirited, well mannered, and some of the most helpful of host. I can't say enough about: Dwayne; Daniel; Emma; Victor, Alberto, Dioris (manager), Raul and Matallana (I'm sure I spelled her name wrong) to name a few. Although the building could use some upgrades - a hint of swamp gas from the bathrooms, and perhaps some bright paint colors so the rooms don't feel so drab, I have no complaints. From the pool to the gym, dining room and bar, the water was clean, the food was hot and delicious, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Bravo.
