Traveled with 12 year old for family fun
Traveled with 12 year old and specifically stayed here because of the pool area. Let me come back to that. Rooms were fine, beds are comfy. The bathroom/closet doors are a bit chaotic and no fan in the toilet area - be warned if you traveled with two boys like I did. Food options are fine, things are quite a ways from the elevator except for one restaurant. We rented a cabana back in April and it was $925 for the west lagoon. I was shocked because I usually stay at Park and it's usually $350-600 depending on your day. This was on memorial day but it didn't seem to matter on the date - I checked. A cabana host told me they start out at $600 and raise prices according to how many have sold. We had two tubes, unlimited water and sodas, cabana host service and food service and of course the typical (safe, tv, fan and seating). You have to tip the cabana host and the food service hosts separately - difficult because we didn't really use the cabana host for anything. Food comes in takeout containers and is average at best. Oh, and no complimentary fruit plate or snacks. The pool area is packed. West Lagoon is quieter but a ways from the lazy river and wave pool. Mandalay was fine, it was a good experience and would consider again. Just feel the pool was overpriced.

Clean, Great food and Service
Excellent service, excellent food in all restaurants and eateries and very clean rooms at a great value. I've been coming for years now, to Mandalay Bay and love the choice of 5 pools and a lazy river.

Excellent all-around experience
From check-in to check-out, all-around excellent experience. Early check-in was a breeze, the room was super clean, housekeeping answered quickly, check-out was simple. Pool staff were wonderful and friendly.

It was alright
My stay was actually pretty good. The mini bar was overpriced I think. Under my bathroom sink I had some plastic cups from the previous guest still there and some dirty towels also. The people that stayed in the room next to us was loud and banging on the walls and the door that separated the 2 rooms.

Mandalay experience
The facility is spacious and clean. The place is accessible, walking distance to Allegiant stadium and T-mobile theater, and you don't have to experience the traffic of the strip. VIP services is indeed a VIP experience.
