    Never Again!

    We stayed at Majestic Mirage from 2/08- 2/13 and it was one bad experience after another. We checked in on Thursday and we were taken to our room swim up room by our Butler Montero. Our “swim up” room was more consistent with a canal on a service road with overgrown grass. The bed outside has curtains halfway attached and the bed itself was dirty. We asked to be moved and we were told “maybe tomorrow”. That evening when I pulled the sheets back to get in bed we found a big stain that was wet and looked like oil. BTW I do have photos of all this! I dialed 0 and just wanted sheets to change it myself in hopes that tomorow we can be moved anyway. I was told by the “operator” to call back later cause no one was answering in housekeeping. Instead, me and my husband and child, along with the other couple we traveled with (room next to us) went to the reservations desk. After showing them pics we were all moved to different rooms. Once in this room, it was also filthy. Steakknife on the floor, urine on the floor in the small bathroom, Bobby pins on the floor and not one towel or washcloth. Once again, we had to go to reservations to show pics and get our room cleaned. Our friends room was dirty and also had a half drank bottle of rum. Our room was cleaned right away and to compensate us for all the trouble we were given a 25 minute massage!!! The food was horrible throughout but if you don’t know good food anyway, then enjoy!!! Night before we left we tried the Hibachi and my son found a piece of metal wire in his rice. The whole resort is not taken care of at all. So much dirt, grime, broken equipment, broken tiles and mold EVERYWHERE! We very rarely saw our butler and even had to book our own spa and hibachi. But you bet he came to our door the night before we checked out to say goodbye and tell us he was off the next day. Well guess who saw the next day.. Butler Montero. If you’re planning a trip with this resort - don’t do it. The pics they show on their site are not what it looks like!

    Excellent hotel and staff!

    We've stayed at both Majestic Colonial and Elegance in the past but Mirage is really worth the extra money in terms of added luxury and overall staff friendliness! MONTERO was our butler and he was impeccable! He was always just one text away and of great help when needed, either for restaurant reservations, extra drinks or others items needed in the room etc.

    Great time in Dominican Republic, Majestic Mirage Punta Cana

    Overall, a very great resort to the point that we go there once a year. Very friendly staff. The quality of food is nice with good variety. We have always Junior as our butler who is truly amazingly helpful and professional. We were very happy with the service of Super Nelson at the beach. Natalia and Felicia were very nice, friendly and helpful in the buffet restaurant.

    Truly Amazing!!!

    This is our 2nd time. The service was excellent. Our butler, Wilbur, took very good care of us. He makes us feel like family. He attended to all of our needs. Francisco made sure that I had delicious food every single night as vegetarian. The Market staff especially Natalia were very nice.

    Favorite Resort in Dominican Republic

    Back again for sixth time. We have been vacationing since 2003 and Majestic Mirage is our favorite. Beautiful landscaping, always well maintained, staff is wonderful, never had a bad meal, able to get American beer and love the rooms. Our concierge Jose Jacobs tended to our every need, the pool concierge -Juan Bernardo helped set up our towels at the pool daily, Miguelita at the Steak house and morning buffet greeted us daily with a smile and Omar, daisy & fernito at the adult pool bar kept our glasses full. We loved Daisy’s special drink. Merced- the bellboy took care of us and our luggage with a smile. Highly recommend!!
