    Unforgettable Aloha at Koloa Landinf

My wife & I had the privilege of staying at Koloa Landing and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. This property compliments the island with its authentic service, unique personalities and world class amenities. From the arrival experience, the personalized touches that the housekeeping department provided and the luxury service provided at the restaurant this property enhanced our entire experience being on Kauai! We now have a favorite island, favorite property and everlasting memories that my wife and I will cherish forever! A huge shoutout to Aaron Bambling for blending his southwestern style and incorporating it with the laid back, authentic, genuine service that the people of Kauai provide! Thank you Koloa Landing for helping us create life long memories that we will cherish forever! LOVED THE CHICKENS AND TOYOTAS across the island ❤️👍🏻 Love The Meltons-

Fabulous 3 bedroom Villa & free parking

We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa (2-201 facing the pool) which was amazing! Very clean and spacious with a huge balcony, much nicer than the pictures depict. Washer and dryer in the villa. 3 bd: 1 King with large en-suite bathroom and closet; 1 Queen with bathroom adjacent; and two twin beds in the 3rd bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Big refrigerator. Go to the supermarket or nearby Longs Pharmacy (codeshare with CVS) for stuff. Washer and dryer in Villa: bring your own laundry pods and dryer sheets if needed (they give you detergent but I prefer my own that the kids are used to) I bought softener at Longs. Dryer takes a long time, you need to put it on Extra Dry setting (regular cotton) and keep the door to the laundry room open, to vent the steam. Don’t overload the dryer. I did hang some of the clothes up to dry as well. But as we all know with kids, it’s so great to have a washer and dryer in the villa instead of looking all over town for a laundromat or paying piece by piece. Parking is free and coffee is complimentary in the morning with water and iced tea complimentary in the afternoon. Marketplace is next to the free coffee where you can get croissants, muffins and very good cinnamon rolls and pineapple. Pool - there are a few different ones and I like the hot jacuzzi tubs the most. There are also free activities like yoga and lei making that the hotel provides. Villa has housekeeping every third day, the other days are trash removal and towel replacement. There is a volleyball and soccer nets set up and the kids can run around as well. The nearby beach has sea lions (monk sea lions) and there’s the Spouting Horn nearby which is pretty cool as well. Rent a car if you can. Tip: if you’re celebrating a wedding, anniversary etc and if you’re Bonvoy Platinum or status member it helps to gently and politely remind them and request an upgrade upon availability. Would definitely stay again.

    Wonderful resort!!

The resort is beautiful. Received welcome leis upon our arrival. Pools are gorgeous and we didn’t even have time to visit them all. Very easy to get a lounge chair poolside even with 6 guests on our group. Beach supply rental was super easy and inexpensive. Food and cocktails at the pool were delicious. Our 2 bedroom Villa was spacious and lovely. Well stocked kitchen supplies. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Able to request a shuttle to visit local spots very easily. Location is convenient to visit any thing on the island. Even tried morning yoga and that was lovely as well. Highly recommend.

    Beautiful Stay, But Lacked Convenience

We had a great stay overall and truly appreciated the wonderful staff. Everyone was so helpful and kind throughout our visit. A special shoutout to Mel, the host at the restaurant — she was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience every time. Her attentiveness and warmth really stood out. That said, there were a few things that impacted the convenience of our stay. One of the biggest downsides was the lack of service near the villas by Building 3 — there were no towels available nearby, and we had to walk quite a bit just to grab some. It also would have been great to have a bar or food options closer to that area. Another issue was the adult pool consistently having children. While I understand it’s a family resort, it would have been nice to have a truly kid-free zone to relax. Lastly, having more frequent shuttle service to nearby beaches would be a wonderful addition — it’s a small touch that could really enhance the guest experience. Overall, the hospitality was top-notch, and the towel situation is something I believe can be easily improved. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable despite a few. I wouldn’t stay if you are single or a couple and want some quite as lots of kids and no beach access.
