Amazing trip in every way!
We had an amazing stay at JW Marriott Los Cabos. Everything was 5 stars + from amenities to food and service. Gemma with the concierge desk went above and beyond to get the beach bag I wanted even though the hotel did not offer that particular design. The service here is outstanding. Ricardo Hernandez and his team paid attention to every detail, were very attentive and accommodating. Alam , Moises and Miguel from UA restaurant remembered us by name and what we usually ordered. Paula, Selene, Kassandra snd Dalaya made our son’s experience at Kids Club very enjoyable. The rooms are very clean and they smell great. We will definitely return and continue to recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to the Los Cabos area.
Jorge and Daniela were fantastic! The hotel was beautiful and everyone was very nice. We will definitely be coming back to visit. The service was top notch. The fire pits are great. Flowers were pretty.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the JW. We started our vacation with out our luggage. Fernando was our concierge that communicated daily with us regarding the luggage. The luggage finally arrived on our 5th day ,Fernando immediately alerted us that our luggage was arriving at the hotel. It was nice to have one person to work with. All the personnel at the JW were pleasant and attentive. The property is beautiful. I did think the nightly rate was a little steep.
UA Culinary Artisans Restaurant
The breakfast here is top notch and our servers, Jorge, Karen, and Marcelo were very welcoming and professional. Be sure to try the freshly squeezed orange juice, and ask for your bacon extra crispy. The views from this place are fantastic.
Not Impressed - Hot Tub Broken
I was very excited to stay at the JW Marriott as it came highly regarded by our friends who stayed last year. Unfortunately I am less than impressed overall for a few reasons - 1) The weather is cooler in January. They have two hot tubs on the property but only one is mildly warm (and far from the adult pool). The hot tub at the adult pool is colder than than the pool. When we called they said it is not an hot tub but we asked staff and they said it was a hot tub but something is broken and management has not fixed it. Ridiculous! Please fix the hot tubs especially in the winter months when it’s cooler 2) we paid for a Panoramic Ocean View High Floor. I would characterize our room as an Ocean View High Floor - NOT panoramic! Panoramic entails an unobstructed sweeping wide view. We have a palm tree in the middle of our view and you can only see one direction from the room. Please change the naming to be more accurate. 3) Little things in the room - our bath towel is ripped, our water didn’t get hot for 24 hours (just above warm), our cushion on the patio is ripped down the middle. These are things I would not expect at a JW. The service has been good but not excellent. The food has been just OK. On the positive side, the spa is very nice and I had a great massage. The room is nice absent the items listed above. Overall I would not return to this property as there are so many options in Cabo.
