A Great Choice for Your Next Cabo Vacation
My wife and I stayed here for our friend's wedding, and we were very impressed with the resort. Walking into the lobby during sunset made for a spectacular introduction to the resort, with it's direct view of the ocean centered in from of the main gallery. We were also amazed by our room, which had direct views of the ocean from its balcony and an oversized bathroom. We requested a garment steamer and the staff quickly brought it to us, along with daily water and anything else we might need. Prices for food from the cafe and drinks at the bar were fair, and the pools were incredible. We did have issues with our toilet (the water tank stopped refilling), and while maintenance was very diligent to fixing it, they had to come back several times over 2 days to resolve the issue. Ubers into San Jose and San Lucas were easy to order, though if you are a large group Uber XLs are a bit harder to come by. Overall, a wonderful stay and a resort my wife and I would be happy to come back to.

Best hotel for kids club!
We love the JW here in Cabo for so many reasons, but the best feature is their kids club! All the women and babysitters are incredible and our kiddo is always excited to go back! We appreciate their attentiveness & kindness and look forward to our next stay!

A very good option in Los Cabos
This a very nice hotel, very well designed and with a great view for the sunrise. Its beach is not a very good one, but there is a beach club nearby if you want to get into the sea. The pools are very nice designed, taking advantage of the land slope towards the sea, and are impecable kept. The room is nice, but I think it is short from the JW experience, as it has some maintenance details as the power outlet in the balcony did not work, nor the safe worked. The restaurants are ok, but I think they need an additional one for breakfast, so you do not get tired from the menu. The service staff is good, but at our arrival there were a lot of people, so the receptionist did not explained the hotel in full , and at the beginning, when I ask for our luggage to be dropped at our room, suggested I look for the guy at the entrance to do so. I bothered me, so I started to leave but he offered to take care of it (as it should be in a five star hotel). The gym is amazing! Is perfectly kept and with a complete set of equipment for any kind of training you want to do.

Beautiful Exterior but wait..
You’ll pay a pretty penny to stay here but we decided it was worth it. You’ll be greeted kindly and with a smile at every corner. But be warned.. not only will you be bombarded by a pricing monopoly but on top of what you shell out you’ll be told you can’t visit the entire resort. Apparently one half door will separate another pool area you can’t visit with cabanas that are absolutely empty but you aren’t allowed to use or swim in unless you pay an added 200/300 dollars. They’ll advertise an ‘all inclusive’ package and bleed you dry. The staff is friendly but the food waste is tragic. Don’t buy anything from the gift shop. 30 dollars for sunscreen, 5 dollars for a can of soda and 130 dollars for bags that you can buy for 35 dollars just 15 minutes away. While this hotel is gorgeous it’ll make you feel like you don’t belong. Absolute classism at its finest.

Service Dog is NOT welcomed
We were forbidden to take our service dog anywhere within the resort, including outdoor dining. We stayed inside our room because our service dog couldn't be with us when we needed to step outside. We only stayed one night and the hotel charged us $150 cleaning fee. Our service dog is a small hypoallergenic. What a disappointment and absolutely awful experience. We moved to another resort in San Jose del Cabo and was welcomed by them. We were free to move around everywhere. Be aware, JW Marriott Los Cabos discriminates service animal and its owners.
