Impressions Moxche
Stayed on the impressions side, the rooms were large and beautiful. Only complaint is the glass doors to the bathroom/shower were extremely heavy and resulted in some stubbed toes when opening it. Also, the fire alarm has a bright green flashing light that is bothersome at night. Otherwise beautiful! The beds were comfy, pillows were a little flat. Our butlers were Alejandro and Mariela and they were both very hospitable and accommodating. Jose and Jazmin with activities kept things fun and entertaining. Alejandro the bartender also assisted them in creating a fun mixology class which we enjoyed one afternoon. Definitely recommend the evening shows! We only went the last 2 nights of our trip and regret missing the other nights. We saw “Quirky” and “Dreaming Awake” which were both amazing. Other notable staff include Joaquin on the Cielo outdoor rooftop bar, Angel in the main lobby bar, Fernando the waiter at seaside, and Nelly our housekeeper kept our room looking great throughout our stay. Also the main impression pool waitress but I can’t remember her name (Isabela?) but she was very attentive and made sure our drinks stayed full. Also all the pool attendant boys were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Overall, it was a very relaxing environment with great food and drinks! We would definitely recommend

Amazing entertainment
Had the best time at Secrets Moxche! Excellent food, pools, room, and the entertainment team went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time! Jessica, Isle, Miguel, Axel and the entire team were so kind and truly felt like friends! Whether it was volleyball, golf simulator or the nightly shows, they kept the party going!

Exceptional Food and Dietary Accommodation, a Few Caveats Worth Knowing
Here’s an expanded draft: Secrets Moxche delivered on outstanding food, drink, and dietary accommodation, with some caveats like a less spectacular beach and limited shaded seating. For guests with dietary restrictions (gluten/dairy free), this is about as good as an all-inclusive gets — not seamless, but staff were consistently knowledgeable and proactive, and being upfront about your needs always paid off. Book nutritionist Gabriela immediately upon arrival via the app or at check-in — she’s available by text before meals and can send you a personalized list of safe options. The buffet manager personally walked me around to explain which options were safe — prompted by our server on day one, and again when he spotted me at breakfast another day. Don’t miss the fresh tortilla and quesadilla station at breakfast — flavorful gluten/dairy free meat and veggie fillings that need no cheese to be delicious. Menus across the resort have allergens marked fairly well. Note that I have gluten and dairy sensitivity but do not require strict cross contamination precautions. Bartenders were also great at modifications — skinny margaritas, low-sugar mojitos, and espresso martinis poco dulce were no problem at any bar. Dos Almas is a must for dinner — stunning Yucatecan cuisine showcasing southeastern Mexico in a way I’d never encountered at home or at any other resort: shrimp aguachile, ensalada de xek with sikil pak, fresh tortillas. Bamboo (vegan-friendly, not strictly vegan) and Sea Soul are excellent lunch options with good allergen-friendly choices. After dinner you can grab a beach chair by the cove pool across from Bamboo — it turns into a bar with live music at night, and you can sit under the stars and listen in. A few more caveats worth knowing: “ocean front” rooms in the preferred club section aren’t truly ocean view — even top floor rooms share the sightline with a vacant lot and a neighboring resort. Preferred Club perks are underwhelming beyond the nicer room — the club bar is tucked in the lobby far from the beach and didn’t offer better spirits than the other bars. The rooftop pool is pleasant but not a viable all-day spot for shade seekers. The cove pool is beautiful but on the colder side and has some chipping on the surface inside and around the edges that is a bit rough on bare feet. Shaded seating resort-wide is more limited than at comparable properties. A non-issue for us, as we dropped our things at the beach by 8:30 before heading to breakfast — arrive much later and you’re rolling the dice on shade. Note that no umbrellas on the property pivot, which makes it hard for consistent shade throughout the day without other sources of shade or a larger palapa (some are available on the beach). On the plus side: the crowd here is more internationally diverse than at other all-inclusives I’ve visited, with many native Spanish speakers, and the live music reflected that. We also had several coati sightings wandering through the grounds. Would absolutely return.

Significant Letdown
We have stayed at several all-inclusive resorts around Mexico, and a majority have been the Secrets brand. So, imagine our surprise when we discovered that the only thing that was worth it was the pools. The service was just not there. At this product price point with the same brand, we expected to have a basic service level across the brand that would translate to Moxche. That assumption was a big mistake. So, if you like a great pool in Mexico, Moxche has a couple. But, you will be better served almost anywhere else for the same price and get a better experience. Consider somewhere else before you book, it will take the resort months/year to correct the service issue (if they even care to try.) socials hype this place up a lot, there are better places to go right now. The Impressions brand apparently is your only way to get anything close to decent service. And for the extra money, there are much better places to go and get an exceptional experience. Secrets Playa Blanca for example was significantly better service when we were there in October.
