Excellent
Our stay was wonderful in many ways!!!! Our children had enjoyed too much!!!! Josema's team were fully dedicated💪🏻We would particularly like to highlight the high standards of housekeeping, as well as extend our thanks to our maid!!!! We also appreciated Sonia’s kindness with children at the bar and the friendly atmosphere she shared with Molina. Five stars are not enough!!!! thank you for your excellent work.

Fantastic family stay in a perfect beachfront location
We stayed at Iberostar Waves Playa de Muro over Easter 2026 and had a fantastic family break. The hotel is in a great beachfront location, about 45 minutes by taxi from the airport. Check-in was smooth, with a nice touch of Easter eggs and sangria. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We had a family room overlooking the kids pool and the sea, with a perfect view, especially at sunrise. The initial sofa bed in the lounge area wasn’t ideal for our 13 and 10 year old to share but the hotel quickly added a proper single bed, which made a big difference. The room was well equipped with a kettle and microwave, and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was modern, although the frosted glass toilet and shower don’t offer much privacy, and the toilet cubicle was a little tight. The room doors are heavy and can slam loudly. Food was a highlight. Breakfast and dinner in the buffet were excellent, with great quality, variety, and cleanliness, and very attentive staff. Lunch outside by the beach was a lovely setting. Some facilities, including the pool bars and à la carte restaurant, weren’t open yet, likely due to the early season, but the beach bar was open and served great cocktails. We’d recommend all-inclusive with kids as it makes everything easy. The food truck was also a hit. You can ask for food “para llevar” (to take away) and enjoy it by the pool. We were lucky with the weather, sunny and warm every day in early April. The kids loved the bubble pool. It was a bit cold, but that didn’t stop them. The sea was surprisingly warm and shallow enough for easy swimming. The beach was busy but never overcrowded, and fresh pool towels were provided daily. Sunbeds were easy to find in April, although summer may be busier. There’s also a useful reuse area for items guests leave behind. We didn’t use the indoor pool, but the gym was well equipped. A nice bonus was the 24-hour café at reception, great for early morning coffee, snacks, or late-night hot chocolate, all included. There are several comfortable bar areas, including one by the stage for evening entertainment and one at the front of the hotel. The entertainment team were very friendly and created a great atmosphere for families. Overall, the hotel clearly aims to get everything right. It’s clean, well maintained, and in an unbeatable beachfront location. Taking a drink down to the beach and relaxing in the afternoon was a real highlight. We’d happily return.

Perfect family break
I’ve just returned from a week’s stay with my family (husband & two teenagers), we had a great time. The hotel is perfectly situated on a beautiful beach with turquoise water.
