  The friendliest most helpful staff I’ve ever known! Without exception all staff be it reception, poolside, dining and bar, or housekeeping were all polite, courteous, friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is perfect for walking left into Las Americas or right along to Playa del Duque and your surrounded by bars restaurants and shops too if you wish. The food was fresh, excellent and plentiful. Activities each day were different - coffee blending, perfume making, glass painting and candle making as well as the usual aqua fit etc again all raised this hotel to superstar quality! The evening entertainment also was exceptional on the evenings we visited. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We chose a sea view which was on the west side so we could watch the sunset from our balcony.

  Fabulous … will be back

  What a fabulous resort .. where to start … everything from start to finish is friendly and professional .. use the app it even tells you when your room has been cleaned.. food fantastic, rooms wonderful and love the water machines.. can have water as you like it and they supply glass water bottles which is great for the environment.. very eco focussed which is a bonus.. right in the thick of it .. take the entrance to the beach near the spa and there are multiple bars and restaurants make sure you turn left and right … so much to do and great places to eat and have a great evening .. we will deffo be back

  Lovely hotel

  Very nice hotel in a good location, all the facilities are great and the staff are all very kind and efficient. A gentleman in the lobby noticed I wasn’t feeling well and bought me a drink which I very much appreciated. The atmosphere is pleasant and calm in the hotel & pool area.

  The hotel was the highlight of our holiday

  Can't believe I forgot to write a review for this hotel. We had the best time staying here and can honestly say this hotel saved our holiday. I stayed here with my friend in July and we honestly loved every minute of it. Check in was smooth and we were presented with a towel to cool off with and the offer of a drink. So we started our holiday off with a glass of fizz. We stayed all inclusive, standard package, and thought the food and drink on offer was great. The only downside to the food really was the market restaurant. The concept is kind of confusing and the food portions weren't great, my friend opted for the chicken and was given one chicken skewer. Overall though the food was varied and plentiful. Station where there are fresh pizzas being made, create your own pasta station and always a station cooking meat, fish, chicken etc. The only thing I would say is it was disappointing that none of the food in the pool bar was included in the AI. We stayed in an Iberostar in Marbella and they offered a la carte lunch as part of the AI. Can't fault the drink offering at all. Mojitos, frozen daiquiris and frozen margs in lots of flavours as well as hendricks gin and a good wine and fizz selection included in the AI. The rooms were lovely and clean. Bed was massive and we had a variety of pillows. The mini bar is also included in the AI. I also like the fact that the Iberostar hotels have water dispensers that each room can use to fill up a jug for water. Unfortunately on our floor the closest dispenser was out of order for the duration of our stay and another on our floor was stopped working for a few nights. So it was a bit of a hobbits adventure for water for a few days. Not a big deal for us but could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The pool area was lovely and if you are on the ball it is easy to book a sunbed each day. We had no issues at all. I really like that sunbeds can be booked. We were celebrating a joint birthday when we were there and arrived to flower petals on the bed on check in, a bottle of prosecco on our first night and on our last night with a hand written thank you note. This was a lovely touch. We do suspect that the hotel thought we were celebrating an anniversary rather than a joint birthday but we found it amusing and appreciated the extra effort haha. Entertainment: The day time entertainment was great. Pool parties, aqua fit, aqua relax and aqua spin were fun. There was also a falcon show, Michael Jackson tribute and saxophonist while we were there, all entertaining. The entertainment team were amazing! Christian and Andrew were always so much fun, especially at the Barbie themed pool party. The night time entertainment was hit and miss. The Brazil night was really fun but this did include the day time entertainment team which really made the experience. My advice would be to include the day time entertainment team in the evening entertainment more often. There was also other things we could attend throughout the day if we wanted to but we were happy relaxing by the pool. A nice added touches were things like free fresh icecream being offered during the day. Another day pre made icecream was offered at our loungers. Also every day there was a cocktail of the day offered, also served to your lounger. I have to say the standout thing that really made this hotel was the team who worked there. Everyone was so pleasant and efficient. The entertainment team, as mentioned were great. Bar staff/ waiting staff work extremely hard. We saw the same faces in various areas throughout the day and they always greeted us with a smile and a brief conversation. I am really sorry that I didn't get all their names to mention them. There were two waiters who, even if they weren't serving our section, would make a point to come over and say hello and offer a fist pump haha There was also a man who was a host at breakfast, dinner etc who made it his mission to try and remember our room number during our stay haha. These little things and moments of acknowledgement made us feel so appreciated. Unfortunately we decided Tenerife is not for us but this hotel was so pleasant and had enough to offer that we didn't mind just spending 95% of our week in the hotel. The hotel infact is the only reason we would consider a return to the island :) Thank you to all at Iberostar Sabila. The team is a credit to the company.
