Won't be back
It's ok. It's clean, food is ok, not great, most restaurants are not open daily and you must make reservations, they are small. So very limited availability and you end up at the buffet most nights. The service is OK, they generally don't try to serve you unless you ask for something, then you might get it, if so typically takes a while. There were some great servers, but not many. They don't have any of the drinks on their menu, just the basics. Bar staff seem annoyed by customers and don't interact much. The thing that has totally turned me off iberostar is how hard they push you to go to their stupid membership meeting. They called us at 730am to see if we would like to come, after we told them no two times. They con you by calling as a courtesy call to see how your room is, then push you to come the dumb meeting. Iberstar needs a lesson in customer experience. Beach is bit rocky, you need water shoes. But there are always seats at the pools and beach. Night time entertainment is weak First and last time at iberostar

Unsure
We came to this resort for my husband's big 50th birthday. We usually do the RIU but wanted an upgrade experience. Well..it was only slightly better. Outside: The resort is pretty well kept up with with the exception of the public bathrooms which had many sinks out of service and could use someone stationed there to clean every few minutes because people are NASTY! Suites: They need an update. The look old and outdated. They are also very dark color schemes. The have an oversized tub and a tiny shower. I don't know about anyone else but I am not taking a bath at a hotel. Food: the specialty restaurants were pretty good but the buffet needs help. They need more variety and a larger selection of authentic Jamaican food! I don't want to have to leave the resort to get that experience but that is what we had to do to get good Oxtail and Jerk Chicken.

Amazing staff. This was our third visit and the staff is still amazing from the housekeepers , waitress and waiters, front desk, tour desk everyone super friendly and always helpful. Akito, Ace, Ruth and all entertainment staff we will surely miss you the games and dance moves you taught my grandson will never be forgotten. Travis at the dive shop you have a kind heart and are always making sailing and banana boat amazing. The food at the hotel is always good especially the jerk chicken on the beach.. rooms are great some need a little upkeep. We did a deep sea fishing with Dream Reel amazing captain and deck help. We were starting to catch but the ocean was rough we had to come back. Bobby native on the beach to buy souvenirs from. We love the jamaicain people and the resort !

Very good, not very great
Overall, this was a wonderful family vacation, but if I had to rate the resort, I would rate it as “good enough.” The overall resort layout was great. The rooms were comfy and well kept. We had a great side view of the beach. Never felt like I was overwhelmed or lost. The food was okay. A lot of my dishes lacked flavor. Nothing I ate really wowed me, but overall, good enough. Definitely very eye-appealing and beautiful. The coffee bar in the main lobby was amazing. Great coffee and very friendly staff. The fitness center was on the smaller side, but had everything we needed when we went. We didn’t do any of the classes, but it looked like there was a variety of classes for people to partake in! My biggest issue I had all week were with my drinks. I am 5 months pregnant, so obviously I can not have alcohol, so I would order virgin drinks. This was almost always met with a very annoyed response. And I would totally understand if they had to make it separate from all the alcoholic beverages, but they always added the alcohol at the very end, so I’m not sure why this was such an issue. More times than not when I would order a drink on the beach, it would never arrive. It made me feel like I was bothering the staff every time. Overall, I think it was good and fine for a family. We had a large group, which I felt like also annoyed staff, but my sister has three small children who had a great time. I don’t regret choosing this resort for our trip, but I don’t think I will go back if I’m visiting Jamaica in the future.
