Playa Mita
All of the staff was welcoming and took care of all our needs. We had outstanding service in all of the restaurants, bars, beach, and pool. Myra, Jesus, and Jose make the best drinks I’ve ever had, they also make their own customs drinks. If you see Myra or Jesus behind the bar ask for the Emilio special. Fabolita always got us what we needed pool side and was always quick.

Nice property but rooms need lots of work!
The main areas of the resort (Lobby, restaurants, etc) are very nice. They were clean and nice with comfortable accommodations. The restaurants had pretty good food and enough options to satisfy anyones taste. The major con for us were the rooms. They were the bare minimum, offering very little comfort. They are in desperate need of an upgrade. Our room in particular had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. We complained to the resort as soon we walked in and they couldn't find any issue. I even overheard the cleaning crew mention a smell. The resort really needs to focus on room upgrades.

My Son’s Wedding was Fantastic
The check in was efficient and the rooms very clean and comfortable. I loved my room key attached to my all inclusive bracelet. My son had a wedding of about 40 people and although a little expensive, it was a dream on the rooftop. The wedding coordinator, servers and DJ we’re wonderful. Food everywhere was excellent - the Japanese was my favourite and our server LuLu made the evening extra enjoyable. Pool and beach was excellent and so were the drinks. I have only 2 complaints- First is that it’s far from any town and expensive to get to the closest town. Second is the hotel gift shop knows this and literally charges between 50 and 100 percent more for simple things like a package of tums, beach bag or bottles of vanilla. I bought nothing there and had it only been slightly higher in price would have spent a lot there. Overall a wonderful resort with wonderful staff!!

Needs upgrade
Service was really good. The entertainment the resort provided was so simple. I just think that for an all inclusive it should be a little bit more clean. The rooms where a bit humid. Wish the resort included top self liquor.

Great stay, best for families/children
We had a great time at this hotel. I visited with my fiancé; we have no children. Service was fantastic and we loved the food. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed the tequila tasting (an optional activity with an extra charge). Also was impressed with the commitment to sustainability with water stations everywhere and no straws, etc. A few items that are not complaints per se but would be things we’d hope for in a hotel of this nature, to keep in mind for others. The rooms are small with no frills - not even bathrobes or slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are in dispensers fixed to the wall with tiny amounts coming out with each pump, which makes it difficult to get a good amount and gives a dormitory feel in my opinion. I expect that from budget urban hotels, not a resort. We also found the alcohol to be quite watered down in drinks - order simple drinks like vodka soda if you really want a proper drink. One significant thing to note, although we know it can’t be changed: there is really only one pool, which is unusual for resorts of this size and type. There are 3 much smaller ancillary pools for children but almost everyone is in the main pool, and it’s not adult-only so the single swim up bar is swarmed by children asking for sugary drinks. Lastly, the property is in a beautiful setting but is about an hour from Puerto Vallarta and there was significant traffic, construction, and potholes/bumps in both directions. It made for a bit of uncertainty when trying to get somewhere on time. Overall we really did love our stay but wanted to note some of these drawbacks for those who are looking for the small details.
