Great Resort with Excellent Staff
Awesome stay, great staff. Food at El Rancho was perfect, and our waiter Irving was funny and attentive. Onsite medical center was helpful as well. Service at the seafood restaurant was just so-so, nothing special but still attentive to us. Beach access was good, plenty of seating the time we decided to go. Beach side food was fairly good for being a quick option. Sargassum wasn't terrible and we even saw them come by to collect it off the beach. The pools we visited were pretty good. The lazy river was our favorite spot when we found it because it was much more quiet than the other pool near our room. But by mid afternoon it was pretty noisy which isn't the end of the world, just unfortunate there wasn't a quieter area. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Would be a 5 star except for making dinner reservations
Wonderful resort with kids . lots for them to do. Just HATE the games they play with dinner reservations. They say nothing is available and the restaurants are half empty. If I fail to get dinner reservations next time , which I have booked another vacation there, it will be my last time there

Great Iberostar hotel
We were there my wife and I from May 2 to May 12, 2023. 10 days of heavy sun without clouds with 2 minutes of rain. Very windy. Very humid also with more than 82% humidity. Beautiful large site in length, well laid out, super clean, large swimming pools, beautiful vegetation. Building in the middle facing the swimming pool. Nice clean room, everything worked perfectly. Housekeeping well done every day. Balcony of good size but too closed on the sides and a little blocked in front. Not great view. The lobby is very beautiful with water basins here and there. Many families with children because it is an Iberostar Selection, so made for children. These have plenty of pools, games and shows. Food in abundance, varied and very good. Someone who cannot find something to eat is very difficult. The staff in general is very polite and distinguished. Don't forget to tip because they all work very hard. Very fast check-in and check-out. There is a concierge at each block to help you if needed. A lot of seaweed on the beach every day and the Iberostar hires staff to work very hard there every day. Less interesting to bathe in a ton of seaweed but after all it's not the fault of the hotel. 'hotel, it's the nature. Many thanks to Iberosatr for the bracelet which also serves as a key to enter the room, it is a wonderful idea. Excellent idea to fill your water bottles in many places on the site and on the floors of the blocks. I have nothing to reproach this hotel but only a few ideas: lack of traditional Mexican music on site. I did not hear any Mexican music during my stay. Neither Mexican musicians. We are going to Mexico for the change of scenery and the music is very important there. The varied fruit juices at the buffet are much too diluted and lack taste. The beds in our room had very average mattresses and the bed frame was noisy.

Wonderful trip for the entire family
My family of four went for a week in April - two girls ages 10 and 13. We have been to this resort before we had kids. This resort did not disappoint. The food was great, staff was wonderful, pool and bars were amazing . It was not crowded - plenty of pool spots. We ate at 5 specialty restaurants and all were fantastic. My daughters had the best time. They loved swimming up to the bar and ordering their frozen cocktails. So much to do. There is nothing that I would change or recommend.

Family fun
Great trip. Pools were so nice. A bit of seaweed but they did a great job cleaning it up. Had some great dinners at the a la carte restaurants. Gilberto at the El Rancho was a wonderful waiter! Would return.
