    Good experience!

Overall it was good. Sales pitches came too often. Everyone trying to get to you to do a “Club Iberostar” presentation. We declined. Keep your resort credit; we’re on vacation! Food was mostly good. Buffet was the best. Hibachi was superb. Steakhouse was meh. Brazilian was good. Italian and seafood restaurants were just OK. Excellent service everywhere. Nice that we had access to most other resorts around us. Little coffee shops, burger joint and taco places were nice for a quick drink or bite. Kids liked all the activities. Entertainment was good at night. Pool games were a little loud. We might try another resort next time (hopefully less seaweed although they did their very best to keep it down), but this one was really good!

    Large extended family-great stay!

This was a great place to vacation for our large extended family! We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The staff was so fun and friendly, Alexei was an absolute stand out for us! He helped us with everything we needed and was so fun, getting us involved in all the fun pool side games. Would recommend staying here plenty to do and plenty of dining options.

    Not great

Pros: Junior suite - not the ritz but spacious and very clean. Every room has a balcony Beautiful and kept landscaping Peacocks and coatis aplenty Bellmen and buggy drivers were always helpful Con: Service at front desk and concierge was non existent. We booked an excursion through the hotel which had a pick up time of 7:30 AM. Concierge told us we will need towels, they informed us that we can get towels at the bell desk anytime. The evening before the trip, we checked with the bell desk and they told us to go to the front desk. The front desk told us to go to the bell desk and it kept going…It was comical. The front desk promised us that the bell desk will have it in the morning. On the morning of the excursion, some of us brought towels from the room and some did not. Of course, there were no towels at the front as promised, and no one was willing to help or get them for us. There were no towels available at the pool until 8 o’clock and the van was not going to wait. It was such a joke. Some people ended up going to their rooms which were so far away and getting the used wet towels. Was considering a massage but it was $240 for 50min. Do they know this is not the Ritz? 😂 Water at all the pools were warm, not refreshing at all. And some very very dirty. Beach useless bc of sargassum Food was not good. There were a few places which were decent, I’ll list them. Eat early for better service. Cappuccino and coffee at star cafe - very good. Olive and lemons Greek restaurant - good El tapatio Mexican was good Burgers and tacos at the mall were good Other than that, do NOT waste your time at the other restaurants. They are garbage - like REALLY bad. El Pueblo, el Rancho, hibachi, Olivetti Italian…all garbage if you like or know anything at all about food. my FIL got food poisoning from hibachi the night before we had to fly home. It was miserable. Tips: Bring a water tumbler for each person. They only give you glass containers for your room which you have to fill yourself. They sell Evian bottles for $13 each, yes, $13. If you have kids, bring floaties, they are astronomical (like everything else) at the resort. Played a round of golf at vidanta next door, balls were $80 for 9. Bring if u can. We bought good alcohol at duty free which we used for our “Virgin” drinks. I don’t trust alcohol at all inclusives. Bring a hat, the sun here is not a joke. Would I go back? Prob not. We picked this resort bc it had a water park/slides for the kids. That part was ok. But they also have foam parties at the main pool which are very adult themed. Drunk ppl 20-40 yr old. It wasn’t pleasant.

    Not the same vibe

This is our 3rd stay in this location and prob 5-6th overall in Iberostar resorts. Its has been great in the past and very average now. The biggest dissappointment is the actual beach. As of now, it is full od seaweed causing unpleasent smell and murky yellowish water. I guess the climat and other factors, but the result is that it is no longer “a paraiso”. Also noticed a slow but progressive change in downgrading Lindo to an average. Just less of a premium feel as in the past. Sorry. I am sure they have a quick response (“Quality Manager”), but the difference is there. Too bad. I loved this place.
