7th time to this resort and our last!
This was our 7th trip to the Iberostar property. This trip was with our family of 11. The coatis, raccoon like critters, were so pervasive especially on the beach, it rendered the beach unusable! My daughter in law got bit by an adult while sitting near the pool resulting in a trip to the hospital in Cancun, 6 stitches in her ankle, a rabies shot and a subsequent infection. The critter had climbed on an adjacent lounge chair to rummage in a backpack and finding a box of crackers. Trying to shoo it away and it bit her. On the beach the Coatis were marauding in numbers of 30-40 at a time following anyone with food and rummaging in any unattended beach bag. We spent much of our time trying to keep the things away from us. As I said our 7th tome there and our last. Never again!

The best experience ever!!!
The best experience ever!!! I have been to some all inclusive resorts in Cancun and Los Cabos before, but this is my best experience I’ve ever had. Highly highly recommended to everyone. Food is fantastic, drinks are excellent, hand down to Neri & Jessy at the bar, very friendly and fun bartender. The guest services are also nice and welcoming. They also have many activities, my kid is having her best vacation. I would definitely come back here again and again. Thank you for a great time.

Great last night
I came with my husband, friends, and daughter with her family. We had a great time and Neri helped us the last evening we were here with outstanding service. She made sure we were taken care of with drinks and was always smiling. She helped make the last night great! Highly recommend the resort for their service.

Great server Neri!!!
We had a great time with family ( 3 couples and 1 with 2 kids). Neri was our server the last 2 nights at the fire show on the beach and at the show the next day at the Lindo theatre and she was amazing. At the fire show she even kept bringing my husband and I waters without asking as it was very hot out. She is the best server weve encountered here and is so nice and provided the best service weve had in Mexico!

Excellent holiday in paradise
First time staying at a resort of this size. 7 times at Iberostar! Here are some thoughts. The complex is made up of 5 hotels in one although they are together and share common areas you cannot have access to everything for example you can go for a walk and buy in any store but you cannot order drinks in any bar of another hotel where you are not staying. (Hotels: Beach, Mar, Lindo, Maya and Grand) The food in general is good the restaurants that require reservations are good the only one that gave us a bad experience was “El Museo” in which we waited a long time to eat the entrees the service was very very very slow and the food was not that good. The hotel has many activities every day and shows at night although sometimes there are errors in the show schedules for example on a Wednesday the app said rock show and when the show was starting it turned out to be a magic show (I have a screenshot... btw Iberostar Cozumel used to have the best rock show not anymore tho :( ). A big applause to the maintenance team because the gardens are always very well maintained they work hard all day under the intense sun to keep them beautiful also to the cleaning staff thank you for keeping the hotel clean Bravo! Something that I observed is that many members of the staff are not so friendly before starting work for example on the way to the gym I found several employees walking and very few even look at you I understand them maybe they are bored of saying hello a thousand times a day but at least they should notice that a guest is passing by who perhaps had to save for months to pay for a vacation instead of looking at theirs phones. (It's just my opinion) The hotel is very big you will have to take the golf carts to go from one place to another you can take the “little train” to go to the lobbies and other points of the hotel. The Iberostar members can request a cart exclusively for them and take them anywhere in the hotel. There is a shopping center where you can find craft stores, a cafe, ice cream, a kiosk and the spa. The spa: It´s a big spa with relaxation areas, aquatherapy, indoor pool, the juices they serve in the spa are super delicious! The therapists were very good the massages I received helped me a lot to relax the staff at the spa reception were very friendly and always smiling 🙂 Gym: The gym has many cardio machines and weights. They have an activity program every day such as Zumba, kickboxing, etc. Classes are held in the studios on the second floor. Just a suggestion to the management: maybe they could put more stationary bikes because there were only two and one was broken. Starcamp (kid's club) has activities every day from 9:30 - 6:30 pm. The minimum age is 6 and the maximum is 17 years old. They are organized the kids into groups according to their ages. The starcampers are very good with children and they look after them very well when they go out to lunch or to the pool. If you want your child to stay at the Camp that is also possible. The kids love spending time there and they also make them participate in the theater before the main show which is very nice. A big thank you to Jaime, Kayla, Scott, Omar, Paola, Liz, Daniela, Javi, Martha and the whole team! In the pool the entertainment team carries out activities for everyone and there is a program of activities that take place in different locations of the hotel there is a foam party which was fun! On the Lindo side is the water park which has slides and a lazy river which are very good for everyone. Next to the water park there is a pirate ship for the younger children. The beach is beautiful the water is clear and the water temperature is good. Depending on the weather some days there is more sargassum than others but every day they clean the beach with a tractor which helps prevent the sargassum from gathering too much on the beach. There are armed soldiers patrolling the beach which is normal in Mexico so don't be scared it's normal to see them walking on the beach or street it doesn't mean it is dangerous! Reception: Check in and check out were all nice and easy. Something that I didn't like was that 90% of the times I went to change money in smaller denominations they told me that they didn't have any cash in three receptions I think that at the Mar reception the guy told me that they didn't have any change that I should go and check with the bartenders if they could change it for me because they receive a lot of tips and I was not the only one to receive that response I heard other guests talking about the same thing. Iberostar really?!!! Now some of the people who went the extra mile: Elizabeth and Lucia at the Lindo reception were the only 10% of the reception who always changed my money without any problem and always smiling. Angel at the Mexican restaurant was very helpful and friendly always checking that everything was okay. Christopher and Aldever at the pool bar very helpful and friendly. Alejandro at the pool bar members on the beach-mar side very friendly and always checking we had the drinks we like. Jerick very friendly and helpful at the pool always making sure all guests were happy. In general I am happy I tried this resort and I would recommend to everyone. It has everything for everyone couples, families, weddings, groups of friends etc... we will definitely come back in the future... Gracias Iberostar Lindo...
