Great hotel with nice pool area
Really nice hotel - very clean and great staff. Pool area is great for when it gets really hot in Lisbon, we found we could always get beds even when it gets a bit busier in the afternoon. Hotel is a little bit out of the centre but definitely walkable and ubers are quite cheap. Also a really lovely Italian restaurant called L’Osteria Italiana which is about a minute walk from the hotel which is great when we didn’t fancy walking into the centre of town. Overall really recommend the hotel.

Disappointed with Iberostar Lisboa – Poor Handling of Guest Concerns
I was truly disappointed with my recent stay at Iberostar Lisboa due to the way the hotel handled a serious issue involving their in-room equipment. On my first day, I used the iron provided in the room, set on the lowest heat setting, and it completely ruined a brand-new pair of $200 pants. I initially chose not to raise the issue, thinking perhaps I had made a mistake. However, two days later, needing to press a shirt (which is often necessary after travel), I again used the iron at the lowest temperature. To my disappointment, it burned through a $150 Ralph Lauren shirt, also brand new. At this point, it was clear the iron was faulty. I reported the issue to reception, expecting at least a gesture of responsibility or accountability. Instead, I was told they had no policy in place to address such incidents because the ironing was not done by their staff. The manager reiterated the same message, saying that since it happened inside the room, the hotel would not take any responsibility. Let me be clear: I have absolutely no incentive to damage my own clothes. I expected a 4-star hotel to take better care of its guests and to back the safety of equipment they themselves provide. The fact that two pieces of new clothing were destroyed and the hotel did nothing about it speaks about the level of service and customer care. I strongly recommend anyone considering this hotel to think twice. If something goes wrong, even if it’s their equipment, don’t expect them to help. I will absolutely not be returning, and I would recommend that travelers consider other options in the area that prioritize guest experience and responsibility.

Not a 5 star hotel, shocking breakfast
Not a *5 hotel, maybe *3 but not 5. We’ve stayed at Iberostar hotels in Spain few times, always in the superior or deluxe rooms. Complimentary bottle of cava was always provided, slippers and bathrobes, fluffy bathroom towels and other amenities. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty. Well, not at the Iberostar Selection in Lisbon. Bare minimum provided in the room, you have to ask for slippers and anything else. Body lotion not replenished even after leaving note to a housekeeper asking for it. Bathroom hanger fell off the wall when I tried to hang towel. Left it in a visible spot for the housekeeper to see. Three days and nothing was done. Lighting fixture over minibar broken, again nothing was done. Toilet rolls not replenished, went to the housekeeper to ask. She rolled her eyes as if I was seriously bothering her. At *5 hotel you shouldn’t have to ask for anything, it should be provided up front. And breakfast… shocking. Pastries and coffee is good, but cooked food (eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms) is the lowest quality you can get. Looks awful and tastes the same as it looks. No one is eating it, people are nibbling on cheese, ham, bread and pastries, fruits instead. One good thing about hotel is outdoor pool, it’s actually nice and clean. But, save your money and find another hotel.

Great hotel, great staff, great location!
Loved this hotel - a great base to explore this wonderful city! All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival and throughout my stay, a real credit to the hotel, it makes such a difference. The room was great and the hotel smells lovely. I had an amazing massage in the spa with Beatrice, and used both the indoor and outdoor pools. The location was great for me, near Pombal, as it was a lovely walk down Liberdade to the main square. Got ripped off by taxi driver from the airport, but the return one booked by hotel was fine. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and if I ever return to Lisbon I will stay here for sure!

4 stars… there is always a room for improvement
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The first impression was amazing: a beautiful fragrance hits you nose as you walk into the cozy lobby of the hotel! It’s usually a good sign!!! QThe decor of the lobby is very stylish and trendy. Friendly staff. The room was nice and clean. we had our towels changed everyday. The gym is great ! also the big bonus is the breakfast! it was a continental style buffet with an amazing choice of everything! However as we got deeper into the life of the hotel : the disappointment begun to roll over upon us. There are two elevators in the main lobby, and one of those was out of order for the whole 5 (!)days. I saw people using the fire staircase so many times in the morning, as they were running out of patience waiting for the elevator. Me and my husband both used the fire exit stairs as well. Every day we had fresh towels but the air in the room never was fresh. You cant open the windows like in Las Vegas. And the room always had a bad odour because of the dirty air conditioning system also all vents were covered with dust fluffs. Also dust was on the shelves by the bar andvfridge area. I was sneezing all the time. the drains smell bad too every time we used shower. they have bathrobes in the room however- no slippers … the hotel positions itself as a five stars one , but in the reality its not. on the good note- they have a nice outdoor pool area. and its situated in a very good location- very central. we would love to come back as we had really good time, but hoping- they could improve. Two working elevators is a must have in the Bussines hotel like Iberostar hotel.
