    Fantastic Hotel

I spent 5 nights at this hotel with my partner, from the arrival we received 5 star service from the staff. Room was clean and spacious, restaurant dinner was nice and tasty. Good location easy to get around walking or by taxi. Overall good experience

    Great 3N escape

Overall our family had a great stay. In my opinion its 4 star. Double superior - good size, it can have 2 single beds covered with double bed sheets, or they prepared them as 2 beds for our teens (although they didn't like that the beds were still pushed up together but no space to keep apart) my teens didn't like the open concept of the shower/bathroom but it does make it spacious, we liked the water refill/no plastic, bed covering is a thin duvet, only coffee maker/no tea, mini fridge, very clean. Breakfast - we felt this was very complete with lots of cold/warm options, fresh juice and fruit although many bakery items were factory made. The service was excellent and they did a great job keeping up with the high numbers of guests. Spa - limited to six people so make sure you book your time slot early. If families are using only the pool then other guests should still be able to pop into the steam rooms. I appreciate this is hard to manage. The towels are much better in the spa than in the rooms. Bring your flip-flops. Pool - its unheated and the staff thought we were a bit crazy for using it but we loved it to recharge even though cold and enjoyed having it to ourselves. The Italian across the street is open all day/evening and decent enough with good service. V easy to get Ubers and they are reasonably priced compared to other cities imo.

    Excellent staff, unusual bathroom setup

Received a very friendly welcome when checking-in, including a complimentary glass of sparkling wine each. The hotel is very close to a metro station (~5 minute walk) and the room was lovely with a nice view over the city, the only thing that felt a bit strange to me was the setup of the bathroom. I appreciate the separate toilet, but the entire thing didn't feel as private as I'd like - there was no way for the shower to be entirely enclosed. We made use of the spa facilities, staff were again very friendly when making us a spa booking at reception. The pool is very small, wasn't a problem as we were the only two using it. Sauna was good, again it was small but this is why they limit the number of people who can be using the spa at any one time. Wasn't the cheapest hotel for two nights, but we were treating ourselves as we were in Lisbon for a friend's wedding, and it was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in.

Outstanding hotel for our corporate meeting

We held a very successful company meeting at the Iberostar Lisboa. Everything was exceptional - the staff, service, guestrooms, meetings room, and the food. A huge shout out to Mariana in Groups & Events who was so attentive and patient (with all of my questions) and made the overall meeting planning process a breeze. We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our meeting in Lisbon.

Don't be fooled by nice pictures and good reviews. Extremely disappointing 3 star hotel experience.

Avoid this Iberostar Hotel, Lisbon!!!!! The pictures of the internet look very nice, and review rating is high, but those are all deceiving. It was the single worst experience in a so-called five-star hotel ever. This is a very small hotel that connected smaller buildings inconveniently, so many elevators to use. 1. The room we booked as a couple was a double superior, and the picture on the website clearly showed a single double bed, but, they do not have a double bed. They have tiny two single beds put together for a couple. 2. The room size was very small although it was said premium double with 28 Square Meter, we doubt the measure is correct. The room was about half the size of the 30 SM room which we used in other city. 3. The quality of bedding was poor, thin, and cheap, not even a down comforter. We heard the box springs sound from the mattress. The pillow was way too low and very uncomfortable to hurt the neck. 4. There were no slippers in the room. When we requested, they brought the recycled / used ones with noticeable dirt and smell without package. 5. All the white bath towels provided were quite grey, completely worn out, and thin like paper. The edges of the towels were tearing off. It will be a shame if such worn-out towels were presented for guest even at 2 star inn. 6. There were no tea, kettle, or mug cups for tea drinkers in the room. 7. The hot water in shower was not hot enough to take a warm shower, and we had to call maintenance the first day. They came out and fixed it promptly, but the following morning, the water temperature didn’t get hot enough for a shower exactly the same problem that we experienced the day before. Apparently, the water service was inconsistent in this hotel. 8. The breakfast buffet was nothing more than a small mini buffet, although it said “complete breakfast buffet” advertised online. The buffet did not have basic items for a 5-star hotel breakfast buffet: no salmon or fish, no seasonal fruits like strawberries, grapes, or watermelon. Even the selection of bread was extremely limited. The quality of food was ok, although not great. 9. Unhelpful Receptionist: Really bad service. The staff in the front desk has no clue how to handle the problems and situations. Also, the staff has difficulties in communicating in English. 10. Their check-in time is late and check out time is 11am, which is 1 hour early than all other major hotels as this hotel have major issues with hotel management. Their cleaning crews were working late in the evening like 4pm or 5pm and rooms were not ready even after waiting for a few hours at the lobby until close to 3pm.
