Advisory The hotel has recently finished a complete renovation of Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. There was a complete renovation of its 528 rooms with high-tech installations and refurbishment of bathrooms and furniture. Also, we highlight the renovation of one of the pools to include a new Bubble Pool and the Lobby Bar. Star Camp, dedicated to the entertainment of children and teenagers with multicultural and educational programs.

- One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behavior.
- In the event that any guest(s) engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical
damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s) without reimbursement or refund of the
remaining nights.

SPRING BREAK GROUPS POLICY -

    Great resort

    Excellent all the way around. Our room was simple, but it had a beautiful view overlooking lush gardens. Comfortable beds, quiet, great air condititoning. Food was good in all restaurants and buffet. Don't miss the daily offerings cooked on the beach. Excellent food, but not advertised, so lots of people miss it. Great beach, boarding, and boat rentals. None of the "upgrades" that other resorts push. No hard sells. Softest sand I've ever encountered. Staff is all friendly, but it's the other guests that really make this resort great. Met a lot of super nice people. Very friendly resort.

    Great Friends at Breakfast Everyday

    We're Iberostar Star Prestige members and decided to spend a vacation at their resort in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. Not disappointed at all! The property perfectly blends the natural wildlife within in the resort for a stunning and beautiful day-to-day experience. The dining was wonderful as usual, but what made it extra special were Angel and Altmagracia at breakfast. We were greeted each day with smiles, mimosas, and great service every day. Our daughter broke her foot two days before we left and the Star Prestige team gave us a wheelchair to help get her around. Angel often stepped in to help wheel her over to our table and then retrieve it for us afterwards to help her leave. Altmagracia was an expert in making us feel welcome each day, make us laugh, and ensure we were never thirsty ;-). All of this was done in a very personable, professional, and friendly manner which I truly believe comes natural for Angel and Altmagracia. A great experience overall, but I will really miss seeing them every morning. Thank you Angel and Altmagracia!

    Amazing Band!

    A wonderful place where we had a great time. An amazing vacation experience. We watched mesmerizing shows every night. The band Keismer, Gabriella, Junior Juan, Carlos, Lady and Natasha are very talented, their energy is amazing! We really enjoyed the performances and the preparations for them. We will definitely come back to this place again!

    Five Star Smiles, Sights and Service

    May 2024 Everything was wonderful! Nature all around us! We had some special cleaning needs and they were taken care of quickly! I was also treated special for Mothers' Day! Maria de la Cruz, our housekeeper, was the best! The grounds were beautifully kept up. The food was amazing. Our breakfast server Angel was amazing.! We had several food options and all were delicious! Take the yacht tour to Saona Island. It was the highlight of the trip. Read less

    We took another couple with us for their first time, we all absolutely loved it and definitely going back!

    This was our second time coming to this Hotel, and we brought another couple with us as they wanted to check it out too, they loved it! Everything was excellent as usual, starting from Angel and all the staff at the front desk and everyone you met in the corridors! Letizia the concierge girl was very helpful and nice. The buffet staff and servers were amazingly friendly, caring and kind. Gabriel tried to get us to go the meeting for star rewards, we were not interested, even though he was going to get commission on it, we did not feel forced to do it. Maria, Victor, Angel, Mario, Artur, Ismael and so many others, that I cannot remember the names, were the best at making us feel welcomed and pampered while going for our meals. The first day we got there, the room was very clean and nice and cool, just our bathroom sink was taking time to drain, so I called the front desk to let know and when we got back that afternoon, it was fixed. We had no hot water one morning and I called the front desk at 7:00 AM and when we got back from breakfast it was already fixed, also the front desk called us that evening after we returned from the beach to make sure we had hot water, so we could shower. We absolutely love the beach and the huts with the chairs, and the Faro (bar) right on the water, they made the best drinks with high end liquor. Also, the bar in the lobby area, the baristas were all so nice and accommodating with anything we wanted. The shows were entertaining, nice, all musicals, a lot different from the ones we had at the Iberostar in Punta Cana. But It's satisfying for us as we enjoy the beach so much and after dinner, we are tired, so a drink or a cappuccino at the bar in the lobby while listening to either a pianist playing music, singers singing and us watching people dancing or just chit chatting, this makes us happy! One complaint that I have is, why us as a second time returning clients were not recognized, our second time in another Iberostar Punta Cana hotel, we got treated to 2 free towels, a bottle of rum, a tray of freshly cut up fruit and cheese and crackers. Here at this hotel, we seen a lot of doors with a sign on them saying welcome back or Bienvenido, we didn't even get that. We told the front desk 2 times and I also told Letizia the concierge and they all told me that they would send a note to the company, and they would see what they could do. We left and never received anything; except "We are very sorry"! Again, you cannot beat the friendliness and kindness of the staff all around, and the beach is just beautiful to enjoy!
