    Fantastic stay, would happily return

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would happily return. Starting with the highlights—the staff truly made the experience. Service was excellent throughout: attentive, speedy, and consistently courteous. A special mention has to go to Miriam at the pool bar. She was exceptional. Always smiling, always checking in, and constantly going the extra mile—whether it was offering more drinks, suggesting food, or making sure the kids were comfortable. Her level of care genuinely stood out and made a big difference to our stay. The food was another standout. The Zeus restaurant, which serves as the hotel’s buffet restaurant, completely exceeded our expectations. Buffet dining can often be hit or miss, but this was on another level. The quality, variety, and presentation were outstanding—easily one of the best buffet experiences we’ve had. The location was also fantastic—exactly what we were looking for. Set in a lovely area by the beach, yet still very close to the main shopping centres and activities. The long promenade was a real highlight, allowing us to enjoy relaxed evening walks after dinner along the beach, past shops, excellent restaurants with live music, and plenty of other amenities. In terms of facilities, everything was very well maintained. And a slightly unexpected highlight—the shower! Absolutely amazing. Powerful, refreshing, and exactly what you need after a long day by the pool. We genuinely looked forward to it. A couple of minor downsides. We stayed in an interconnected family room, and it felt a bit odd that the main bedroom (with the king-size bed) had a smaller balcony than the kids’ room, which had the larger one. Not a major issue, but a slightly unusual layout. This could be very easily resolved by switching the beds between the rooms—placing the king-size bed in the room with the larger balcony and the twin beds in the room with the smaller balcony. The main pool was also quite chilly. Given that it’s where most guests spend their time, it would have been great if it were better heated to make it more comfortable for longer stays in the water. Lastly, an adults-only pool would be a fantastic addition. As much as we loved being there as a family, having the option for a bit of quiet, grown-up downtime would really elevate the experience. Overall, though, these are small points in what was otherwise a wonderful stay. The service, food, and overall atmosphere made it truly memorable—and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Great Location and Comfortable Stay with Some Areas to Improv

On the surface, this is a very comfortable and well-located hotel, and overall we had a good stay. It’s easy to see why many guests return, and we appreciated the atmosphere and convenience it offers. The Positives: The location is excellent and very convenient. The hotel itself is spacious, with beautiful pool areas and a relaxing environment that works especially well for families. Room & Cleanliness: The rooms are comfortable, although in some areas they feel a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Cleaning was somewhat inconsistent during our stay — sometimes very good, other times less thorough than expected for a hotel of this category. Dining Experience: The system of providing a room number before entering the restaurant felt slightly unusual and at times open to confusion. On one occasion, this resulted in a billing issue at checkout, which was resolved but was not an ideal experience. Breakfasts were somewhat repetitive, while dinners were generally better in comparison. A positive change compared to previous stays is that the evening dress code for men has become more relaxed, which makes the overall dining experience more comfortable, especially in warmer weather. Service: Most of the staff were polite and professional, although service could feel inconsistent at times. There were moments during evening service, particularly in the area where the evening entertainment takes place, where the atmosphere felt less welcoming than expected. Pool Area: One area where the experience could be improved is the management of sunbed reservations. Although the hotel has a policy against reserving loungers, we did notice that this still happens at times. A bit more consistent monitoring from the pool team would help maintain the relaxed atmosphere. Final Thoughts: Overall, while there are areas that could be improved — particularly in consistency of service and upkeep — the hotel offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay, largely thanks to its excellent location and facilities. We have already chosen to return, which reflects the overall positive experience despite a few areas for improvement.

Great service and warm family pool

We had a fantastic stay and felt genuinely welcome throughout. Service was excellent everywhere — friendly, attentive, and we were never left waiting for a drink. The drinks service around the pool was particularly good. The family pool was a real highlight. It was beautifully warm (around 29–31°C during our stay), which suited us perfectly and made it very enjoyable for relaxing swims. We upgraded to all-inclusive at check-in and were very pleased we did. The offering was strong, including a daily restocked room minibar, and overall good value. Drinks and service were consistently quick and attentive. We stayed in a “Double Sea View Priority Location” room, which was a reasonable size with a lovely sunset view. The shower and toilet are not in a separate enclosed room, which slightly reduces privacy, but it worked fine for our family and allowed more usable space for the table and chairs. Evening entertainment was enjoyable, with some genuinely talented performers. The gym is also very good for a hotel — split between indoor and open-air areas, with free weights, a barbell station, bench press, and a good selection of cardio equipment. Overall, a very relaxing stay with great service, warm pools, and a solid all-inclusive experience. We would happily return.

    Fantastic

Fantastic week’s holiday here and will return next year. Summary of our stay Choice of drink on arrival and luggage brought to the room for us. Amazing views of the pool and sea from room B407 The buffet is the best we have experienced in a five star hotel: huge selection of meat, seafood (lobster on two nights), salads, cheese, etc. with very attentive waiting staff. Amazing! A very large resort but it never felt crowded. Pools were heated and loungers had thick cushions. They give you cards for towels which you can change as often as you like at the cabana at the pool. All inclusive drinks and snacks available at the pool such as pizzas, poke bowls, nuts, crisps and branded ice creams. Waitress service from your lounger. Thank you to Johanna who was so friendly and hardworking! My husband and daughter booked the tennis courts every day (across the road or accessed via the tunnel in the hotel) and used the gym which also had an outdoor gym. I did the yoga class which I really enjoyed. There is a lot of activities on every day and something for everyone. Two choices of entertainment at night in the Anthelia mall or lobby bar. We chose the lobby bar as it has the 3 pool tables. During our stay they also had a sunset gathering with an Aperol Spritz bar and a silent disco night. The hotel is well situated. If you go out the gate facing the beach turn right for a stunning coastal walk or left into Costa Adeje (not so keen on that). Also when you go out the front of the hotel turn left to go to the very nice shopping centre. The bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion all provided and smelled lovely. Turn down service with fresh towels and chocolates at night. Mini bar is part of all inclusive and has 2 half bottles of cava, beers and soft drinks. They replenish what has been used each day. Beside the two boutiques there is a cupboard where you can leave / swap books. I made a lot of use of this! We had stayed in another very modern 5* hotel in Playa Paraiso for the past 2 years and we actually preferred the Anthelia even though it could do with an update in the carpets in the corridors. The food, the staff, the location and the comfort were all perfect.

    Brilliant hotel and holiday

Such a lovely hotel, we were so sad to be leaving. We loved everything, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the pools were fab and the service was great - lovely professional and friendly staff, offering us food and drinks throughout. Now the real talking point... the food. Outstanding! Just totally tremendous, high quality, well presented with so much choice. Usually, even on half board we would eat out once , maybe twice but the food was so good in the buffet we didnt want to due to fear of missing out! The drinks were fab too and cocktails very well made. The hotel even had a padel court which was a daily highlight for us and also had a choice of good entertainment on an evening. Highly recommend this hotel.
