“We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya and would absolutely come back! The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with great views and thoughtful touches throughout. The staff truly made the experience special—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the pool and beach areas—always clean, relaxing, and never felt overcrowded. One of the highlights of our trip was how easy everything felt, from check-in to dining to activities. It really allowed us to unwind and enjoy every moment. I highly recommend this resort for couples or anyone looking for a stress-free, all-inclusive vacation. We can’t wait to return!”

My husband and I recently stayed at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, and overall our experience was mixed. We previously stayed at Hyatt Zilara Jamaica in June 2025 and absolutely loved everything about that experience. That stay is actually what led us to book this trip, expecting a similar level of quality, but unfortunately, this experience felt like the complete opposite. The staff throughout the property were truly amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and easily the highlight of our stay. However, the overall atmosphere felt more geared toward an older crowd, which made it difficult for us to fully relax and enjoy the vibe as a couple. We also didn’t feel entirely comfortable or like we quite fit in during our stay. We were stared at the entire 3 days we were there almost as if we didn’t belong( by other guest). The biggest disappointment was the food. Across multiple meals, it consistently lacked flavor and seasoning. It honestly felt like even basic seasoning was missing, which was surprising and disappointing for a resort of this level. While we appreciated the excellent service, the overall experience didn’t meet the expectations we had based on our previous stay at Hyatt Zilara Jamaica.

Great Resort
Wonderful resort that matched everything we had heard about it. Meticulously, clean, and all of the staff were so friendly and service oriented. We felt that it was important to the staff that we have a great time. Comfortable seating, both at the pool and the beach. You do have to get to a place pretty early in the morning or you will not find a chair. The restaurants are all really good.

It was a nice time at Zilara. Amenities were nice and the hotel grounds were small and quaint. It was a good place to get out of the cold weather of the Northern US.
