The location is close to PCH. Parking was reasonable close. Rooms were outdated Curtains dirty. I switched rooms due to ants in the room. The hotel offered to clean and spray insecticide however I have allergies to harsh chemicals. I switched to a different room in a building with no elevator. Still had ants.

Great location for business travel with affordable dining options on-site. Self-Parking is easily accessible from the lobby areas. The Valet/Bellman were very attentive upon arrival.

Dated location with the only benefit being the location. While pictures look nice it’s very clear they’ve been riding high on the location for years based on the lack of upkeep on rooms, AC, electrical, low speed internet, among other things. Don’t bother wasting your money here.

Motel 6 at Ritz Carlton prices
Motel 6 charging Ritz Carlton prices. Unbelievable. Plus $40 per day!!! for open air self parking. Had a wild party at the pool after midnight outside my room. Hotel staff reaction to my complaint? “Sorry for the inconvenience, there was a wedding at the hotel”. Sorry for the inconvenience, that’s all? I could have stayed in Paris, London or Rome at a decent hotel for less. And they add all kinds of BS extra charges. Unbelievable! Stay away from that …..fill in the blank.. Won’t EVER stay there, for free! The worst Motel 6 experience in my life!

Rooms need an upgrade
This hotel is a miss. What a shame as it is in a good location and the lobby is updated. The rooms are old and shabby. Bed not comfortable. Needs a major upgrade. Hidden fees: Valet parking is $55/night and self park is $45. If you stay at the hotel overnight that is considered 2 days of parking. Resort fee $40 plus tax. So much potential but time for a major upgrade. There are better options nearby. Spend some time researching.
