    Amazing Maui

Beautiful property, fantastic staff, lovely room with an amazing ocean view We stayed in a great room that had recently been remodeled. There was a large shower and a king sized bed. The room also had a refrigerator, Keurig (with tea and coffee provided) and an in-room safe.

Loud, Far $$$ Parking, Tons of Kids

Good doesn’t outweigh the bad. I wanted to like this place so much but overall, there are no many negatives. The Good: the rooms are clean, modern and thoughtfully designed. The balcony on the room is a nice touch. The scenery is nice. The Not So Good: This is not a quiet or convenient hotel. There were kids everywhere at this hotel- you cannot escape all of the kids and their noise. The pool cabanas look a lot nicer in the photos. In reality they appear to be rundown. They are not private. Located next to the kids pool and the restrooms are a ways away. Also there is no beach access near them. The pool and all restaurants on site are down a steep staircase that is slippery. I tripped twice. The beach is really not calm enough for swimming and there is no life guard. Warning signs are posted. Probably the worst part about the hotel is the parking and the noise. There are 2 options for parking- pay $25 per day to self park and walk far or pay $40 per day for valet and wait a long time while the valet walks far. You have to park then walk uphill about 0.25 mile and cross the street. There is really no parking for check in since the front of the hotel is very narrow and always jammed with cars waiting for the valet. It’s quite inconvenient. There is no food available for in room dining between 11 and 5 pm. There was construction in the lobby around one elevator so this limited the elevators in my tower to 2. The tower I was in had a central atrium which is the main walkway to all food, the pool and the beach. It’s loud and it echoes in the tower since it surrounds the atrium- noice just goes up and every room opens to this atrium so I can’t imagine there is a quiet room here. I asked for a quiet room. Hard to come by here- this is a very noisy place. There were roosters across the street so you hear them first thing in the am and all day. Oh and people did that save a chair with a towel and disappeared so there were no seats at the pool. Definitely not the quiet, relaxing and stress free vacation o was looking for. I left on day 2. I couldn’t stand it anymore.

    Greedy

If you don’t want to be charged for everything then done stay at this resort. They charge for parking, pool towels, to sit in certain chairs by the pool and ocean and have daily fees just to stay at the resort. If you do stay here be ready for a lot of charges on your card when you check out.

    Excellent experience

Came to Maui for anniversary trip. The numerous pool options were great, never had to fight for chairs. There were always plenty of towels. The only drawback is the beach is extremely small on the property.

    Perfect hotel

This was my first trip to Maui. I spent 2 nights in Hana and 5 nights in Lahaina, and it turned out to be a perfect trip. Initially, I wasn't sure about the hotel's location, but Lahaina proved to be the best area with its beautiful waterfront walk. I believe it was worth spending 2 nights in Hana as well. The hotel itself was very nice and clean, and the staff were amazing. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant offered one of the best buffet breakfast experiences I've had in any hotel, with a delightful view. They also had self-parking available. There are several restaurant options near the hotel, catering to various price ranges, so you can find reasonable prices.
