Wonderful Amazing time
Beautiful resort! clean and comfortable rooms. Stayed in a casita. the turn off was a Hugh jacuzzi bath with no jacuzzi in the center of it all. No-one uses this anymore. Our casita had a private smaller pool alot cleaner then the pool by the main hotel area. How ever the last two days of our stay the bar in that area was closed quite inconvenient on a Thursday and Friday ! had great massages at the Spa (expensive) the lobby was so beautiful ,but not once did I ever get a decent mojito. The restaurants raved about specifically the Criolla food was not that great. The girl waited on us was so rigid about substitutions. And the food was not that good. did not try the other restaurants because of bad reviews. The steak house was booked through the middle of April. So we ate out every night. The Hyatt shd consider getting better chefs in their restaurants as I view based on reviews the food quality is not good..However, the market by the casita had great breakfast sandwiches and delicious pastries in the morning and delicious coffee. Fairly priced. We also went to Luquillo Kiosks restaurants on the beach #1 kiosk where we had lobster and delicious Alcapurias it was good. There is a beautiful horse ranch called “hitching post” their restaurants ambiance so beautiful mostly organic food. Over all ,I would return to the Hyatt it’s classy and beautiful close to many beautiful places to go in beautiful Puerto Rico and the service was excellent! Worth every dollar! The staff reception and bar area were wonderful and I especially want to thank the golf cart drivers always ready to pick us up and take us from one side of the resort to another;the drivers were so sweet! We also took a catamaran trip to icacos Island worth it if you like to swim and snorkel. Or just sun on the boat. Puerto Rico is so very beautiful lush and green filled with wild flowers and beautiful birds of all types. And the wonderful sound s of the Coqui at night. Truly an Oasis. And romantic.

I am writing this review to recognize two individuals who stood out as complete professionals during my last visit in January. Thank you to Jose Vargas’s for being so friendly and accommodating especially at 1AM arrival after a long travel day. Thank you, Jose! Another big “thank you” to Alberto Saint at the Sand Trap for making it a special night for my family to remember the fun and importantly, the Perto Rican hospitality! Thank you, Jose and Alberto!

Booked this hotel for a wedding I was going to, and they refused to apply the discounted rate for the wedding block. This should be a simple fix in the system, but they were not helpful and said I was out of luck. You would think a place like this would be more accommodating for a situation like this. I will not return after this stay for this reason alone. DO NO BOOK!!!
