Not the level of service you expect

Shocked that this is a place people return to yearly. The hotel was a zoo, the staff couldn't handle the amount of people staying here. From the renovations throughout our stay, to not being able to get towels and no one even coming by at the beach or pool to get any type of service it just fell extremely short. We never got the crib we requested at check-in, took hours and a physical revisit to the front desk again at bedtime because front desk operator wouldn't pick up the phone. Just overall service non existent here, it's a shame.

    Love Aruba BUT overpriced !

We had another great vacation at this resort. Thestaff are great. always attentive and helpful. We have been regular visitors to the island for 15 years and staying at the Hyatt for the past 7 years. Always a great experience. However, the prices have become exhorbitant especially after COVID. The price is 2.5x more since 2022 alone. Not sure we will return next year since the price for 1 week is more than 10 days in Hawaii !!!

    Beautiful hotel

This is a beautiful hotel. Very convenient location. Rooms need a bit of an update. Adult pool is amazing. Only issue was my palapa was surrounded by smokers. I wish they has a smoking section on the beach. I have a daughter who has asthma, so we couldn't stay in our palapa those days. Kinda a waste of money.

Terrible experience. Stay somewhere else in Aruba.

I'll keep it short and leave out the smaller items. The check-in was bad. They said they would text/email when the room was ready, but never did. When I checked back after lunch, a staff member said wait in the lobby and he would get us when the room was ready since the people had checked out and they just needed housekeeping. Two hours later (waiting in the lobby) I check with the desk because he never came back. The room was ready. The place is under renovation and the main restaurant is closed. Went to the beach, they were out of towels. The room was noisy from both the hallway and outside. Ate dinner at the onsite restaurant and later that evening when we were in bed, the server called our room to say they lost the ticket and if I didn't come down to sign another, his boss would make him pay for it. Check-out had one person and they were busy. Asked the concierge (they seemed to never want get up and help with anything) and they said it would take too long for them to look it up. When I approached her (concierge) and started to ask, she greeted someone else she knew and started talking to them while I was standing there. I finally track down someone to check out and they said they would email the bill. Still waiting for that.... Overall, a giant rip off. I don't think I have ever felt as ripped off for a hotel stay anywhere in the world. Way too expensive for a place that is short staffed and ambivalent towards guests with rooms about as good as an airport Marriott. People can just wander in off the beach and use the facilities, so you might as well stay somewhere else and you could still use the pools. Would not stay here again or recommend it at all.

    Great service

This was a great destination for our family, including our young adult children. The adult pool was extremely relaxing and overlooked the beach. The staff was extremely acomodating throughout the property. The food on the property was delicious and there are many restaurants and clubs nearby. We walked everywhere and took the recommendations
