Visited SF from the UK to attend a family wedding. The stay at the hotel was comfortable with the rooms well presented and clean. Reception friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more of an institutional experience with a 'canteen like' self service buffet. It was this breakfast experience coupled with the need to queue (stand in line) to be seated for breakfast that stopped me giving a higher overall rating.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing stay at the Riu San Francisco.It is such a great hotel from check in to rooms,breaksfast, atmosphere location etc just a wonderful place to stay

Excellent option for Fishermans Wharf!
The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. My only slight annoyance was that the windows were useless at keeping outside noise out. Our room overlooked the bus station and the noise throughout the night was loud. Not to mention the street cleaning truck which runs from 2am -6am. The best way to overcome it we found was to turn on the noisy aircon which acted as grey noise. Overall though I do genuinely recommend this hotel for that part of town!
