Husband became ill 3 days into holiday.
Hotel looks clean and staff work hard. The first few days we found food Ok Nothing special. The drinks were very poor Beer was very watered down and When I did go up to try a cocktail They were made up on the bar sitting for hours. We saw people bringing their own alcohol from supermarket. My husband became ill and so spent all our time in the room isolating from other guests. I do think Food temperatures should be checked regularly in main Restaurant. My husband is a meat eater I am vegetarian. I was not affected by sickness or worst. I went to see TUI Rep ( Babs) I felt it was my duty to tell her of my husband being I’ll. she said Holiday makers bring it to the island . Terrible attitude. On the coach to the airport to return to Uk We did learn that many had experience the same symptoms. We complained to TUI Uk . They denied any knowledge of sickness at This Hotel .Its just not Good Enough

Never Again!
This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, previously we spent a week here in October 2024. We were a party of 6 myself, my husband, our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. We were really looking forward to our holiday as we had enjoyed our previous stay. The first 3 days we had a great time, even though we had a lot of rain which was quite heavy. The weather started to improve a bit but unfortunately by the 4th day my husband started to feel unwell. Late that night he was projectile vomiting and had severe diarrhoea. This continued to well into the next day and so both of us stayed in our room to avoid infecting anyone else. The following evening my daughter and granddaughter were having the same symptoms. They were so severe that they could barely get out of bed. My daughter actually passed out in the bathroom, hitting her head in 2 places and bruising other parts of her body. By then my grandson had also started being ill. After 3 hours my son-in-law contacted reception and asked them to request a doctor's visit as their conditions were so bad. The doctor gave my daughter and grandson injections to stop the vomiting, but because my granddaughter was too young she was taken to hospital to be re-hydrated on a drip and be given medication. My daughter went with her also to be re-hydrated and to have a head scan because of her accident. They were taken to the hospital as emergency cases with the blue light flashing. They were well cared for at the hospital but remained there on drips for 2 days. My granddaughter had an ultra sound scan as her stomach pains weren't improving, but they showed nothing abnormal. Blood tests showed both of them had gastroenteritis. Whilst they were at the hospital I asked reception if they could carry out a deep cleaning process in their rooms and our room. I also requested clean bedding, cushions etc as they were unable to get out of bed every time they were sick. They changed the bedding , towels and cushions but no deep clean was carried out either in the bedrooms or the bathroom or the toilet. The cleaner squirted some disinfectant at the toilet flush buttons and the toilet seat lid. I was told someone would come back with a cleaning machine that would do a more thorough cleanse but they didn't. In my own room there was no clean bedding, or towels and the toilet hadn't been cleaned either. Just the beds made and the towels refolded. Reception denied any other cases had occurred, but I know know this wasn't true. The restaurant staff squirt hand gel into your hands as you enter but unfortunately alcohol hand sanitisers don't work against gastroenteritis. It's no wonder that there are so many cases, if specific cleaning procedures for this illness aren't being carried out and the hotel is denying there are any other cases. It was a very stressful, worrying time for all of us, particularly for my granddaughter. If you are booked to stay at this hotel I would advise that you take your own hand sanitiser and cleaning wipes etc that work against gastroenteritis.

Don't bother!! Not the best
The hotel is in a rubbish location and there isn't anything in the area, it's also on the bottom of a very steep hill. The food is the worst I think I've experienced in an all.inclusive hotel. It's the same every day with not a great choice. There was a number of people there who had a sickness bug whilst we were there. The plus is the rooms are a good size although storage is rubbish and the cleaners of the rooms work really hard.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained, with gorgeous sea views and on La Gomera. the rooms are spacious. Food is good. The pools are heated, no reason ot to dive in. Enough transats everywhere. Located in an quiet area in South Tenerife, with an great path along the sea.
