May 19, 2025Nice Hilton. But location is suspect
We stayed at this hotel both upon arrival and before departure during our 12 d tour of Switzerland. There are very few Hilton products in Switzerland. Nice facility. Highlight was a decent breakfast buffet and executive lounge ( both which featured the ubiquitous euro cafe machine, which I hope US hotels adopt.) Hotel seemed slightly understaffed at each visit. Rooms were fairly Hampton Inn- ish by US standards ( making them larger than most Swiss hotel rooms) But biggest deficit is location to the wonderful Swiss train system, which we came to love. The closest stop is approximately 1/2 mile away, with a hefty set of stairs at each end. We came upon a family with children as they were navigating their luggage up the stairs to the hotel. Not a pleasant task. I would not recommend carrying your luggage to or from hotel to train stop, unless you’re backpacking. We did utilize the Hilton shuttle to and from the airport ( 5 CHF per person, purchase on the app/email). No shuttle to a train station. They do have Uber, which is significantly cheaper than a taxi ( 38 vs 80 cash CHF). Not sure we would stay here again. We saw another hotel adjacent to the airport , and train stops. Would be much more convenient.

We never expected Great Airport Hotel at Hilton Zurich Aiport
We stayed after arrival and before departure through Zurich Airport. It is 5 minutes by the shuttle location, 7 minutes' walk to the nearest station. There is jogging/walking pass by the hotel which take us to the beautiful farm village which we loved and enjoyed very much. We can't wait to come back to this hotel.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay after a flight cancellation
We were accommodated in this hotel due to a flight cancellation. The shuttle arrived quickly and we were accepted upon arrival. The rooms were nice, the pillows were very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The dinner and breakfast were basic and lacked the expected diversity. Although the chef did prepare us something when we asked for it

OUTSTANDING! Great staff, superb breakfast, very clean rooms and lobby, breathtaking views!
I am giving this a 5-star review due to the incredibly friendly staff, super clean, and all in all top tier service for all requests. The bartender, Ivan, was particularly amazing. I had requested any drink of choice that involved alcohol with Switzerland (as it was my first time in the country). He proceeded to create a cocktail that I found to be not only great, but one of the best I’ve ever had. It was a simple but complex drink involving gin. I cannot remember the name of it but he made my stay so much better. The continental breakfast in the morning was also superb including an omelet chef and several items to cater to all diets. HIGHLY recommend for anyone staying in the Zurich area especially if you are on an overnight layover.
