Central CBD Hotel
Great location in the center of the CBD and walking or tram distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very modern and has a comfy bed! They used to staff is very friendly and they have a very nice executive lounge. I especially liked the breakfast in the restaurant. The space is so stunning with the high ceilings and vertical wine cellar. I also liked the flower arrangement at the entrance at the time and had a great discussion with the staff about the flowers. It was fun!

Highly recommend 10/10
I am well travelled and have stayed in a few Hilton’s which need a little update. This Hilton in Sydney feels brand new, excellent service and amazing location. Love the extra step they went with the filtered water tap in the bathrooms. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again

not the typical Hilton breakfast that is known for
Location: 5 star, shops and restaurants in the area, very convince. Across an old restored building housing stores, many branded stores Front Desk: 5 star, very helpful and informative Breakfast: 2 star, not the typical Hilton breakfast that is known for, need improvement Rooms: 5 star, nice with bathtub and good bed

Hilton, Sydney not worth the Extra for Executive Room
This was our Second stay at the Hilton and this time was very disappointing we booked an Executive Room with access to the lounge, since our first visit in July 2024 they had relocated the lounge to level 1 the new lounge is terrible it is smaller and more like food court area in a shopping center than a comfortable place to relax, it is very noisy we would sit ouside the room on some overflow tables, at the busy time they were turning people away as there were not tables for them, if they are selling rooms with access to the lounge then it should be big enough to accommodate all the guests I also dont like that children are allowed in the lounge, the ones we encountered were not well behaved and not controlled by the parents just allowed the run around drop food on the floor and be noisy. There were people complaining to the staff including myself but they just nodded and said there was nothing they could do about it ,dont think we will be going back, Also reading the responses to reviews/complaints they are all standard responses there are no solutions to the issues guests have with the hotel, same as the face to face complaints

Bad Internet
DO NOT stay at the Sydney Hilton if you require good internet access. A few years ago, the Hilton charged for internet access and blocked access in guest rooms. When we arrived on December 16 we went to our room and found we did not have internet access. I returned to the front desk and someone connected my phone. After returning to our room I no longer had access again. Someone came to the room and connected my phone. Returning from lunch my phone would not connect again. A very helpful person from IT came and with some work connected my phone. He said it was a very common problem in the hotel. The phone disconnected again the following day but then managed to stay connected until we left. All staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Also, the TV disconnects every 30 minutes, a problem I recall from before. The person in charge of IT should be fired.
