Good, but room for improvement
This is overall a decent hotel, but there were a few areas that could be improved: * The bathroom in my room had no air extraction or air conditioning, which meant the room was permanently damp. I was assigned an accessible room, so the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Due to the excessive damp, there were several patches of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom * The leisure facilities are shared with the Fitness First club. The club is unfortunately very badly maintained - almost all the lockers in the changing rooms are broken and not able to be locked, the pool is very cold - the coldest I've ever experienced at a health club, spa pool was only just warm, lights in the steam room were broken, had missing covers, and visible dirt/mould around the light fitting. * Breakfast was pretty good, but had limited vegan options on the hot buffet. Would have been nice to have some vegan sausages at least. Good selection of fresh fruit and vegan yoghurt/chia pudding, however, as well as porridge with various toppings. Labelling could be better - things like the homemade baked beans aren't labelled vegan, presumably because they think it's obvious, but it's better to just label everything. It's annoying having to ask. It would be great if the bread ingredients could be labelled too. Apart from the damp issues in the bathroom, the room was well-equipped, with a decent kettle and coffee making facilities, comfy bed and pillows & fantastic blackout blinds. An unusual and very welcome feature was the dedicated filter tap in the bathroom for drinking water. Often, the water in hotels doesn't taste great, and this made a big difference, and saved me buying bottled water. It would be great to see other hotels adopting this idea. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and I'd be happy to stay again, but it would be great if they'd address the few small niggles I've listed here.

Beautiful hotel and excellent location
I had a phenomenal experience at the Sydney Hilton. Every employee I encountered was incredible. The breakfast crew in the restaurant went above and beyond every single day to make my stay enjoyable. At the front desk, From my very first check-in, Karen went above and beyond to assist me. She helped me find places to go eat, recommended places to go see, helped me find a massage therapist, and every time she saw me would ask about that day’s adventure. She created a strong feeling of value and individual service. I would recommend this hotel and I’m looking forward to coming back. I wish I had written down more names to recognize the staff individually. They were stunning..

Pleasant stay at Hilton Sydney
I stayed here in beginning of April 2025. This is a full service Hilton hotel and hence full service is expected. It is conveniently located in the CBD with QVB department store for shopping, Chinatown and excellent public transportation connection. Due to its popularity and the location this hotel is extremely busy at all time. Both check-in and check-out staffs were friendly and professionally handled. I arrived early to check-in and she was happy to provide me a card for me to use the Executive Lounge which is located on the first floor. The breakfast at the Executive Lounge was okay. I would imagine breakfast at a regular restaurant would be extremely busy. My King Executive Room was on the 30th floor with the city view. The room has a bathtub, which was a plus for me. The gym and the swimming pool was shared with the third-party company, which had to share with other non-hotel guests (so a normal Sydney user). The temperature of the pool was very cold! I did not like the way how we had to share the pool and gym with the third-party fitness guests. However, the price was pretty descent and while the place is busy, I would like to stay at this place again. Thank you!

Miss the old executive lounge
Revisited one year later. Room and gym remained wonderful. Sadly the executive lounge lost its expansive 37 floor views to a smaller dark windowless room on level 2. Opted to have breakfast at the Glass Brasserie which was extremely crowded. The small business area with a couple of computers and printer in the executive lounge was also lost and replaced with a single computer and printer on a ground level public space hidden near reception. But location can't be beat, staff and valet continue to be friendly and helpful.
