    Could be good but needs better management of the lounge

    Exec lounge needs much better control as its like a kids playground, really loud and inconsistent enforcement of policy. I got asked to leave as I had leather flip flops on yet kids in here in their pj’s, adults in sliders, singlets ……The lounge is far too small for the size of the hotel. We got a slightly upgraded room as a Diamond but the weakest benefit of our 7 week trip across the AP. I guess this is due to the volume of American Diamond members staying here pre/post cruises. That’s another issue to be aware of. The hotel and lounge in particular gets super busy when a mega cruise ship is in and the volume goes up to 11! Breakfast in the restaurant is great with a wide variety and daily changes. We met a female waiter in the breakfast from Nepal who was fantastic, sorry we didn’t get your name.

    Our stay was an absolute delight!

    I’ve had the privilege of staying at the 3 Hilton hotels in Perth CBD, the 2 Hilton garden Inn hotels in regional Western Australia and Hilton Melbourne little queen street in Victoria. They are all amazing hotels but Hilton Sydney takes the top spot for me. My partner and I were there for the first time over the Easter weekend (in April 2026) and it was an absolute delight! The location is amazing, the hotel is beautiful, the staff members are very friendly, breakfast was delicious and our room was very nice and very clean. Special thanks goes to Janne (the staff member who checked us in). She was very kind, approachable and the customer service she provided us with was superior. Finally, we really loved the benefits given to us for being Hilton Honors Diamond members. Thank you team for making our stay there so memorable. We will be back 🙂

    Good location. Space in room an issue

    The location of the hotel is great. Close to Westfield shopping mall and about 20 minutes walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House, Bridge and Botanical Gardens. We were given a room which had extremely limited space. As our travelling included business there was little drawer and hanging space available to unpack everything. Amenities in the bathroom were very limited. As loyal Hilton members we drew this to their attention and it was dealt with the following day with a larger room and a bit more storage but not full length wardrobe space. During our stay we had a bit of an odd service in the room. Turn down service a couple of times but not every night. Amenities not replenished.

    Good location, recently renovated.

    Only stayed for 1 night whilst transiting. Recently renovated and very clean. Bathroom on the small side, however nice facilities.

    Wonderful hotel

    The Hilton Sydney was a wonderful hotel from the time we arrived till the time we left. Everything was on schedule and the service was excellent. The hotel breakfast is wonderful with plenty of options. There is a buffet and an omelette station. Everything about the hotel was great and I would definitely recommend it.
