What a great stay. I am a Hilton Diamond member and booked 2 rooms for 5 nights with points. They upgraded my room and extended my benefits to my son and daughter-in-law as well. The room was very clean and was attended to daily. The breakfast was awesome. There were so many choices, including an omelette station and our final morning. They had someone playing the grand piano. The food was good and it was very classy as you got views out the panoramic windows of Mount Vesuvius. We also enjoyed the reception each evening in the executive lounge. They had meatballs one night that were especially good. Although the outdoor pools were not yet open, the grounds themselves were beautiful with the orange and lemon trees. I could not say enough good things about our stay at this hotel. We had a fabulous time.

We had a very unfortunate experience here. The bathtub in our room (as well as others’ rooms) is extremely slippery and my friend had a fall in the tub. As seen here, there is an alarm pull, which makes it appear that the hotel is aware of this situation. The solution that was offered was to give us an anti-slip mat (pictured) and to go to the hospital. We asked to file an incident report, and were not given the opportunity to do so. We were told that an internal log report would be made, but our request to have a copy of that report was denied.

A wonderful home base in Sorrento
We had an amazing few days in Sorrento with the Hilton as our home base. At the top of a hill made it much more quiet than anything on the main street in town, but a bit of a walk with a stroller and kids. The indoor pool was magical - with shallow grottos for our little ones and a wide expanse for lap swimming. The breakfast buffet is the kind of thing you long for on family vacations - something for everyone and some local flair. We had first floor garden rooms with a view of the on site citrus grove. Much of the hotel (outdoor pools and outdoor restaurant) was still closed for the winter season, which certainly made the hotel more affordable.

Fabulous stay - highly recommend
My family and I had a fabulous stay at the Hilton Sorrento. Excellent service, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. The pianist at breakfast was really lovely. The restaurant and bar staff were fantastic. Honestly, we could not fault this hotel. The view from the bar and restaurants is so special.

Stunning luxury hotel - whisper quiet and incredible beds
Our stay at Hilton Sorrento Palace was nothing short of exceptional—a perfect blend of tranquility, warmth, and effortless convenience. 5 ⭐ Set slightly above the bustle of Sorrento, the hotel enjoys a wonderfully quiet location that feels like a retreat, yet is still an easy, pleasant walk into town. Being able to dip in and out of the energy of Sorrento while returning to such peace and calm each day was something we truly valued. The added bonus of on-site parking made everything even more seamless. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the team. Every single person we encountered was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience special—a real “dream team” in every sense. Christina Nobis was the most amazing professional and thoughtful person who made our stay memorable in every way. Josephine from the front desk warmly checked us in and showed us to our room - a delightful touch. Other front office team members Chiara and Paola were friendly and helpful. Their warmth and professionalism created an atmosphere that felt both polished and personal. Virginia in the Executive Lounge worked tirelessly to ensure a first class experience for all. And Vincenzo from the concierge team helped with our car to get us away effortlessly and quickly. One of the highlights was the hotel’s beautiful lemon and orange orchard. Wandering through it felt almost magical—quiet, fragrant, and incredibly calming. It provided the perfect place to pause, unwind, and soak in the charm of the region. And then there’s the indoor swimming pool—an absolute standout. It feels like stepping into a vast Roman bath: grand in scale, serene, and beautifully designed. Whether for a morning swim or a relaxing wind-down, it added a real sense of indulgence to our stay. The Executive Lounge was another highlight, offering a refined and comfortable space to unwind, with thoughtful touches throughout. And the buffet breakfast each morning was simply outstanding—generous, fresh, and enjoyed with a breathtaking backdrop of Mount Vesuvius in the distance. It’s not every day you start your morning with a view quite like that. Whisper quiet rooms with luxurious beds! All in all, Hilton Sorrento Palace strikes a rare balance: peaceful and tucked away, yet connected and convenient; refined yet welcoming. We left feeling relaxed, well cared for, and will definitely be recommending to our friends. And we loved the Easter flowers and almonds given to us at breakfast!
