Beautiful Hotel amazing location. Sadly the housekeeping staff lack proper working ethics. They were shouting talking very loudly across the hall. The dragging of the vacuum constantly knocking on the doors loudly. And the constantly drilling on the walls and the reception does not know where it was coming from. Had to call the reception complain numerous of time. Nothing could be done.
Beware of renovations
The room itself is nice enough. We booked this primarily due to the fact that this it is connected to the metro. We did know that the entrance was having some renovations done and the entrance would be in a different location at night. However, there is barely any signage directing you on where to go. It was completely dark where you have to buzz the front desk to be let in. My wife and I literally spent 45 minutes walking from the metro, the mall, underground buss tunnel, etc. trying to find where the hell the entrance was. We felt quite unsafe in half the places we went trying to find the entrance. We had to call the front desk to get directions multiple times. We are English speaking and I really do appreciate the woman that was trying to help us, but it was unclear on where exactly to go - not her fault. We raised the issues when we finally got to the front desk and they acknowledged it is a problem. We had a nice evening touring Paris which was ultimately completely ruined by a stressful end to the day trying to get back to the hotel. Beware.
A Contemporary Escape
very nice rooms and an unbeatable location at La Défense. Its direct access to the metro, proximity to numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and shops make it incredibly convenient for travelers. What sets it apart is its modern ambiance, which is a departure from the typical Parisian hotel experience. The only drawback noted is the view of the inside mall, which may not be as appealing as an outdoor view. However, this is compensated for by the exceptional quality of the food offered at the hotel. In terms of service, while most of the staff are very friendly, it appears that additional training might be needed to enhance the guest experience further. One notable inconvenience is that the hotel has two entrances, but one becomes inaccessible after 11 pm, resulting in longer walks for guests. This is something to consider when planning your stay.
Great just expensive
Great hotel location attached to lots of shopping and the metro and RER. Staff is wonderful. I go once a year and Irma at the restaurant remembers me by name and welcomes me. The hotel is always making improvements to be better. My only complaint is the cost keeps going up, this will likely be my last year as I go for work and this year I had to pay out of pocket for part of the room. Work just won’t pay over $450 a night. I’ll really miss this place!
Good hotel nice staff
I returned to this hotel after a 4 year gap. It's undergoing renovation in parts of the property. The room I was in had been refurbished and was very pleasant. The breakfast was still very good with exceptional omlettes. Best in any Hilton. Restaurant staff were polite and efficient. The problem is the housekeeping. Previously it was OK and no more. This time it took 3 requests every day to get the tissues replaced in the bathroom and late evening deliveries on 2 days when there was no shower gel in the dispenser and the same with the handwash. Apart from the housekeeping issues its still a good hotel with great staff and I will return.
