Great location
This hotel is in a great location. Not in the heart of the city but close to the metro. The hotel was under construction but the staff did their best to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Nestled inside a mall, this hotel had everything.

Good room rate for a Paris hotel
I had two nights at the Hilton, with a rate of about 227 EUR per night which was very reasonable for Paris - especially compared to the other Hilton properties in the city. While La Defense is a bit outside the center of the city, with the RER train you can get to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées in less than ten minutes. Getting to the hotel was through a shopping mall, as the main entrance appears to be under construction at the time. Indeed, the reception area was a bit small and awkward, and it seemed that the entire entry section of the hotel was currently being renovated. If you arrived at the hotel after 9.30 pm you also had to use this awkward intercom system, which was a little odd. At check in I received a room upgrade to a King Deluxe Plus (having originally booked into a regular King) and I also received a voucher for a free drink at the bar, as a Diamond member benefit, which was much appreciated. It's nice for the hotel to recognize Diamonds with benefits like that. I was also able to check in a couple of hours early, which was great. For some reason, the sole restaurant on site was only open for breakfast, although the bar had a few food options (and room service was available but it ended somewhat early). The breakfast at the restaurant was okay, but not spectacular by any means. The room was nice and featured a good view of the big square in front of the new arch - and you could also slightly see a portion of the arch itself from the room (some different design choices would have provided stellar views of the arch which seemed like a huge missed opportunity). The room also had a fridge (no mini bar) and a large TV with decent channel options. The bathroom was also nice and had a really good rain shower. The hotel is placed just across from the Westfield Center, so there are lots of shopping and dining options within a short walking distance (although note that late at night, nothing is open in the area if you want a late dinner!) The hotel is also very close to several train options, including the RER and Metro, and it's convenient for the arena if you are seeing a show there. Overall a good stay, despite the construction, and the rate was reasonable.

Hilton is the worst hotel company
Don’t stay at this hotel or any hilton hotel. I booked 6 months in advance, when I got there, they have renovations going on that they did not notify me at the time of booking. Paid over $200 a night. Everyday at 8:00 am, we would get woken up to gut wrenching drilling, and this can be heard in my bed, at the bathroom, down the halls, at the bar, near the elevator, everywhere, all day. I have about 25 videos of my experience, so I’m not just a person who is upset with one thing, and using my words in my review to tarnish, I’m trying to reach people and make them aware of what they will experience. So when I wanted compensation,I spoke to bilal javid, the front office manager, after 2 weeks of the e-mail game, I’ve received nothing, I ask to speak to his higher up, the general manager, I receive nothing. I’m also a hiltons honor member. So if you like paying for a 4 star hotel and receive 2 star hotel quality, this is your place, but if not, go anywhere else. Stay at motel 6 and save $130 a night, it’s the same as Hilton properties

Enjoyed our stay, staff were very helpful and polite
wonderful hotel. A bit out of the way but public transport is very close and convenient. The place was being renovated but staff made everything possible to make sure this will not be a problem. Breakfast very good. although out of the way from the centre of Paris the mall next to the hotel allows you to find do things in the vicinity of the hotel especially as we were with a 6 mth old baby. Highly recommend the hotel.

Hilton La Defence … very poor
Really poor experience. Room was not clean and the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. I’ve stayed there before for business but it wasn’t never this poor. I don’t think I’d come back next time
