With a location “in the center of it all”, the Hilton is 3 blocks from the French Quarter, connected to the Outlet Collection at the Riverwalk, adjacent to Harrah’s Casino, and steps away from the Warehouse Arts & Restaurant District. Venture out by Street Car at the hotels entrance or enjoy our two pools and 90,000 sqft Health Club. Dine at Drago’s featuring the famous charbroiled oysters or sip a specialty drink in the Public Belt. The hotel location is key, as the spacious rooms, some of which offer river or city views are the ideal starting point for your excursions.

Ok business/convention hotel
The hotel is good, but it is showing its age. It is fine for a quick stop, but more of a basic business/convention hotel. Good location next to river, walking distance to many places. Friendly service.
Shocking state for American hospitality and pity to see at hilton hotel at this stage
I was in the conference Facilties of the hotel for 4 days I did not stay in the rooms and I did not eat at the restaurants The level of hospitality was shocking at the convention centre - totally unacceptable and unprofessional There was very little customer care Food and beverage was hit and miss and nowhere near what is expected of a five star hotel It was functional but nothing more WiFi was not available Once we connected with the HHonors the WiFi was unstable The little market was closed during lunch time when many people wanted to use it The conference rooms and the banqueting was set at very low temperature and everyone was complaining but staff did not care at all So much for sustainability and low energy consumption @hilton Hotels !!!! You had us wearing winter clothes in New Orleans when the temperature was nearly 90 outside !!! In the rooms that they served the conference dinner there was no WiFi coverage !!! Only the hiltonconference network - chargeable to the organiser And the worse experience was during the awards ceremony service staff continued service and collecting plates totally disrespecting the situation the speakers and the occasion. The noise was simply unbearable ! All in all pretty bad hospitality management- unprofessional and unacceptable Pity and shame to see American Hospitality at this state and to see Hilton Hotels managing this property that way
1st time in NOLA - great experience
This was my first time in New Orleans. I came for the jazz fest to see Mavis Staples. The staff was excellent. I booked on Hotwire so you expect to get rooms that aren't preferred, but my room had the best of both worlds - views of downtown & the Mississippi river view. In addition, Randa & Trenise helped me with a later checkout to accommodate my flight schedule. Great experience.
A very good hotel in a good location. A short walk along the riverside to the French Quarter. Friendly staff. Large rooms. Helpful concierge. A very good breakfast with friendly obliging staff.
Very well done convention hotel
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is a full service convention hotel just down the street from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The hotel also has substantial convention facilities on the property. I hear this is the largest hotel by room count in New Orleans. It's believable after having stayed there -- this is a massive property. It's lovely inside and seems well maintained. There is a large two-story lobby area with a central bar, breakfast restaurant, dinner restaurant, coffeeshop, check in desk, and sitting areas. The flow/layout of these spaces seemed to work well to handle the significant numbers of guests. The rooms are truly lovely. Very classic look, light colors, everything pristine and sharp -- these are rooms you're happy to return to at the end of the day. Well furnished; everything exactly where you want it. The bed and pillows are amazing! The rooms are spread across three different buildings and I can only speak to the rooms in the main building since that's where we stayed. We stayed at this hotel as part of a convention room block. This block included free parking, which is onsite in an enclosed garage and is very convenient. Hilton seemed to have some backend difficulties in attaching the free parking to room reservations, since some fellow attendees had to advocate and involve their convention contact to get it actually applied to their rooms rather than being charged for parking. The staff overall were kind and helpful. I had good experiences with the provided internet, but many fellow attendees reported dropped connections after the initial login. Your experience with the internet may vary. Note that the onsite coffeeshops (I think there are two?) which are advertised as serving Starbucks coffee do use Starbucks beans but are not Starbucks locations, so the available drinks and food are different. It's mostly packaged food here rather than fresh and is less likely to work for common dietary restrictions. The only hot option (only available in the morning) is a bacon or sausage sandwich with egg and cheese on a croissant, and these are pre-made so no option to have a meat-free version, for example -- a little bit surprising these days. The only other breakfast option is the hotel's restaurant, which seems to offer a buffet some mornings (at around $25/person, this was out of our range) and ordering off a menu every morning. We took advantage of the coffeeshop and avoided the restaurants. The hotel advertises a FedEx Office location in-house. Be warned that prices for copies here are roughly double the cost of the same exact thing at standalone FedEx Office locations down the street. The FedEx Office website provides accurate quotes that reflect these high prices. I understand paying for convenience, but am noting this because it's easy to be surprised if you're used to normal FedEx printing costs. Despite its location nearby, the hotel isn't actually connected to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center -- it's about a five minute walk, which is very nice. It is connected to the Riverwalk Outlets, a mall that occupies the stretch of riverfront between the hotel and the convention center. Overall, this was a great stay and the small issues we had are common to many convention center hotels. I'd have no hesitation about staying here again if I had an event in the area.
