Pleasant stay, poor service recovery — but resolved after escalation
Five nights in March 2026. The hotel itself is comfortable and well located, and I should say that staff were polite throughout. However, two issues let the stay down — and more importantly, how they were handled. First, despite the room being fully prepaid through a booking agent, the hotel attempted to charge my card again on arrival and I also received a note under my door querying my payment. It took two days, multiple conversations with the hotel, and a call to the booking agent before the matter was fully resolved. It was stressful and time-consuming. Second, on one occasion our room was not serviced despite the sign being displayed, meaning we returned to an unserviced room when we had planned to rest before an evening out. Mistakes happen — I understand that. What disappointed me was that at no point did anyone offer even a small gesture of goodwill. A box of chocolates, a drink, a meal voucher — something to show they recognised the inconvenience. Nothing was offered during the stay, and when I emailed the hotel and later completed the hotel’s own post-stay survey with detailed feedback, I received no response or acknowledgement at all. For a hotel of this standard and at these prices, I would expect better service recovery. It is not the errors themselves that leave a lasting impression — it is the feeling that nobody particularly minded. Update: Following this review, the Front Office Manager contacted me personally with a sincere apology and a goodwill gesture. The response was candid, thoughtful, and demonstrated the attentiveness I felt was missing during and after the stay. Credit to the hotel for addressing the matter properly once it was raised through the right channels.

Luxury and warm hospitality
A heartfelt thank you to Hilton Milan for providing a wonderful stay during our trip to Milan with my family. First of all, the hotel is very clean and luxurious. The breakfast and meals are of very high quality and absolutely delicious. I would especially like to thank Front Office Manager Ms. Moira, as well as Ms. Maria Grazia from the restaurant. They were incredibly warm and friendly, making me and my family feel truly at home. I would also like to extend my thanks to Mr. Dennis and Mr. Claudio from the restaurant. They were both very polite and helpful. In conclusion, we had a fantastic holiday in Milan, and we hope to come back again very soon.

While the location was overall good, the experience with staff was not good at all. The shower heads and faucets had cracks which would cause water to splash in every direction and in the bathroom area. We have stayed at 4 Hilton properties at 4 different EU countries in the span of 2 week and every property was wonderful except this location! I would never stay for both the attitude of the staff and lack of willingness to help with the room condition.

Close to Perfect
Big, clean room, excellent service from friendly staff, would be six stars if they a) put a coffee machine in the room and b) gave us some teaspoons!

Poor beds
Unfortunately this hotel needs to replace the mattresses on there beds, they have resorted to using mattress toppers which are very in affective and make your night sleep poor.
