Great location. Current decor that was classy yet comfortable. Wonderful amenities in room. We had room 402 a family suite that slept four. Our teenagers shared the sofa bed which the hotel added an extra mattress layer too making it much more comfortable than most. Nice size room for four people given the typical small size of European hotel rooms. A/C and ceiling fan perfect during this heat wave. Definitely recommend!

Great Stay in Barcelona
My wife and I had our first trip to Barcelona this May as part of taking a cruise. We stayed at this hotel. The hotel was great. It has a great location not far from the action of Barcelona but far enough to be quiet and away from the crowds. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast that was served was also excellent and a great way to start the day. The room we had was comfortable but the best part was that our room had a ceiling fan. Don't know if all rooms do. But in hot Barcelona having a celling fan above your bed is a Godsend. I slept like a rock. Highly recommend this hotel if you want a nice, comfortable refuge from the crowds after a day of touring.

The most amazing hotel with the best customer service
Fantastic location near to all attractions. Spotlessly clean, modern extremely comfortable beds and very helpful staff. You really get to know how good your hotel is when there is a problem. The air conditioning is new and we had a problem with it in our room as it wasn't cold enough on the way out we discussed it in the lift, we didn't know but the manager Esther was in the lift and heard us. She immediately identified herself and said she would sort it out. Unfortunately she was unable to get it to work so she upgraded us to a better room wrote us a gorgeous letter explaining what she had done to put it right. You can tell a hotel is quality when you have a Manager as good as Esther.Thank you H10 Universitat we will definitely be back and will absolutely recommend you.

Great location / very friendly hotel
We can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. We’ve been here 3 days and leave in the morning, and everyone is so friendly. The hotel lobby is very welcoming. And the staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I don’t know all their names. One I think was Danielle. But kudos to the hotel for its customer service. The breakfast area is well stocked and in a bright, cheerful area. Again the staff there are so friendly. There is a good selection of fruits which I like and this really yummy fruit cup. They have the typical English breakfast stuff as well as eggs each morning. We joined the H10 club and received a discount when making our reservation. We also get a bottle of water in our room. We have a coupon to get a free drink at the rooftop terrace lounge. When it gets dark tonight we are going up to see the city at night. We went up there during the day to check it out and it’s small and very quaint. Look forward to seeing the city lit up. Our room has been fine. The beds are comfy. We have a deluxe double overlooking Main Street but it’s not noisy at all. I think it’s double glass. Wish they had washcloths in room. We are from the states. I’m sure if I asked they probably have them. I brought one from home just in case so I’m okay. The location has been great. We didn’t get metro or bus tickets as we didn’t want to deal with figuring out how to buy tickets. Wish they had the tap on tap off like London. We had a tour with Barcelona Day Tours one day and they picked us up at hotel. They were very good. And one day we did the HO HO bus which is right around the corner at Plaza de Cataluña and just a couple blocks the other way is Plaza de Universitat. It’s also very near to La Rambla. We went to Montjuic one day and the front desk was very helpful with calling us a taxi. You can even purchase the funicular tickets at the hotel. Whether you are here just for sightseeing or pre-cruise like us, we highly recommend this hotel.

Martin and family
Again another wonderful stay at my favourite hotel. Staff rooms just love everything about it. Everything is catered for. I have become friends with the manager Christian who runs a wonderful hotel. This time brought my daughter and her new husband for the 1st time and they loved it too
