A fantastic stay that keeps us coming back!
We returned back to H10 Atlantic Sunset in mid March for 10 days and it was again a great experience from the moment we entered the hotel. Familiar faces throughout the hotel and everyone is so welcoming, chatty and friendly. Our room was on the fifth floor in the Privilege building with great views. We mainly ate in The View Privilege Restaurant but also visited Stromboli, Sakura Teppanyaki and Route 66, where they just had revealed a new menu. All food is delicious with our favourites still being the tomato tartare, salmorejo, black rice and the cod. The grilled salmon in Route 66 was also really good. We enjoyed every moment of our holiday as we always do at Atlantic Sunset. The new candle making class was great fun and we got to take the candles home too. Countdown to the next visit has started already, see you soon!

Not very good experience
New hotel, very nice and practic, We stayed in a privilege suite beautiful room but the services are very unprofessional. Is the first time we head this bad experience in a five star hotels. Almost all the stuff it’s unpolitical I think the management employed all the people who was throw away from other hotels.. The food is not good quality and there is not many options lucky for us in the front of hotels there are some very nice restaurants who we can enjoy very good hospitality and food. To catch some sun beds, it’s really race in the morning 😁

Very, very disappointing.
We were SO excited to visit this hotel and paid for premium rooftop suite for our 20th wedding anniversary with the half board upgrade. The suite was large, modern and the view was great over a large ravine to the beach below, we arrived in the early evening. Immediately the following day there were several issues we had that the management failed to address appropriately or acknowledge correctly when we contacted them. In short, my husband became very ill on the second day after eating some room temperature prawns in the half board dinner buffet the night before. We informed the hotel of this and their response was to give us another meal voucher for one of their 'premium' restaurants, which he obviously could not eat, we were very confused by this offer. As you can imagine the trip was confined thereafter to the room as it became apparent he was very unwell, couldn't eat anything and was then unwell for the entire 9 days we remained in Tenerife. Nightmare start to the dream trip! To compound our experience we then had to endure excessive building noise from the engineering work outside the hotel which meant the roof terrace and jacuzzi we paid a premium for was not peaceful or relaxing at all, it was jack hammering and piling from 8am to 5pm every day and my husband couldn't get any respite whilst trying to rest and recover in the suite. I feel any hotel has a duty to inform guests when booking of any possible disruption to their stay and adjust accordingly, especially with a roof terrace directly facing the digging work. It was actually ridiculous. This new development also looks to be ongoing for months or perhaps longer btw for anyone else unfortunate enough to be lured into this false tranquil setting hoping for a relaxing special holiday, you wont get it in any of the rooftop suites thats for sure. The emails we have since received from the hotel on our return have been impolite, bordering on confrontational actually, and insincere, in no way have they addressed the issues I have raised, in fact they have tried to insinuate that we are dramatising the situation on the last exchange, and falsifying the origin of the illness to avoid their responsibility. A hotel is only as good as its response to complaints and issues, and this one is very poor indeed in that regard. Dont be fooled by the mirage like we were, the hotel and view are seemingly lovely on the surface when viewed online. My advice is to take your currency elsewhere where your custom is more likely to be appreciated and avoid the hassle, discomfort, noise and utter disappointment.
