We originally booked here for 9 days. When we check in the woman at the front desk had no idea what she was doing. We arrived almost at 10pm. We had friends with us, and we ordered a mountain view room, and our friends had a courtyard view. We checked in together and when she gave us the keys I specifically asked if ours was the mountain view and she said yes. Since it was late we really couldn't see what our view was, both rooms looked like a courtyard, my husband called the woman at the desk and she said that it's because we booked 2 courtyard rooms. So I went down to the front desk to speak to the woman and show her my receipt. She said she couldn't read it because of her old eyes. So I enlarged it for her and she said there was nothing she could do about it and it would have to wait until management came in. The next morning our friends informed us they had the mountain view. We went down to the front desk to speak with management and explained the situation. Instead of swapping rooms we decided that we would stay put because then we would have had to pack everything back up and unpack again. The manager did credit our account as the room we originally booked was more expensive. The pools were gorgeous, but far from any rooms. They were heated which was nice. It was a bit too quiet for us. Felt like you were in a library. Any time we spoke (quietly) it seemed like people were shocked that people were speaking! The high end restaurant was excellent. The breakfast at Mesa was ok but ridiculously expensive. We were told the millionaire's bacon was excellent but we found it to be pretty awful. The bacon was tough and chewy and not cooked well enough. We found all employees to be stone faced and lacking any personality except in the coffee shop. The coffee shop, no matter who was at the counter was welcoming and seemed generally happy. All other employees were too stoic and seemed unhappy to be working. We also found the clientele to be too uppity for our liking. Very stuffy and uptight. We would never stay here again. In fact we checked out early and booked a different hyatt and had no issues at all.

Excellent service. Beautiful accommodations. Live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings were a plus. I really enjoyed my stay. I was very happy that during the conference I was there for that the kitchen truly went out of their way to make sure that there were plenty of Gluten Free options available at break times and breakfast.

My room was clean and room service was timely and discrete. Hotel staff were polite and competent. All furniture was of good quality, and everything in my room worked as expected. I did not have time to enjoy the property but the hotel served its function and I have no regrets.

Perfect Pick in Scottsdale
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The ambiance was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the staff was helpful. La Zozzana is a must for a lovely dinner. We had a suite and it was spacious with a beautiful view. The spa was so lovely I wish I had more time to spend there.
