Perfect location, disappointing room.
Fantastic hotel, but fails to deliver good sleeping conditions. In a suite priced at 700 usd per night the curtains didn't even cover the windows, and the AC was louder than an airplane. Perfect location, wonderful design, but poor breakfast. We ate all our meals outside.

Grand Hyatt hotel is Fantastic. Must visit !
The Grand Hyatt is an amazing hotel with excellent service and top-notch amenities. The gym was fantastic, and Esteban, the gym advisor, was super helpful, offering great workout tips. At the spa, Giselle was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more relaxing. I highly recommend both the gym and spa during your stay!

Great hotel
Great little hotel with an amazing, friendly staff. Overall very satisfied with the hotel. My only gripe was the swim out pool was dirty (people on higher floors were throwing food into the pool), the pool filter was also broken. Besides that though it's a fantastic hotel, room is awesome and serviced was exceptional. It's also conveniently located to 5th avenue for all your souvenirs and food

A not so grand experience at the Grand Hyatt PDC
1. Arrival went smoothly however, it did not feel welcoming and warm as other resorts I've visited in Mexico (this was my 6th visit). 2. The so called "VIP Welcome Gifts" will only be given to you if you attend a timeshare like presentation. I didn't like that at all! I came to relax. 3. I booked a cabana for two days. 1st day, I did not receive my drinks and fruit that's supposed to come with the cabana. 2nd day, I was harassed multiple times, being asked to show my email confirmation for my cabana because they were trying to sell it to someone else. I told the manager (light blue shirt) that I do not wish to be bothered again (after the 3rd time) interrupting my relaxation time. He then brings a note book over saying that my reservation was not written in the notebook. My friends and I all booked the same day (back in October), it was another couple who wanted my cabana but I was not willing to move. I showed him my reservation again. He apologized then said he would not bother me again. About 2 hours later another guy (dark blue shirt) come by again and asks me to verify my reservation, which I did! It was extremely frustrating! 4. I paid for the lounge since we were unable to get all inclusive, well, the first time I tried to use it, to get coffee in the afternoon, there was none. BUT, I could go down stairs to buy some!! go figure! 5. With all of the little annoying things, I have to say the room was clean and the waitstaff were great. It's also a good location if you want to walk around PDC and like diving. My concerns may seem small however when you spend your hard earned dime and need sometime away from work, it's best if things run smoothly.
