Golden Nugget Spa - Angel (Hairstylist)
I made a spur of the moment appointment with the spa on Monday (5/22) @ 3:30pm for a haircut. It was a last minute decision for an upcoming wedding, I didn't have time to get in at any local shop (Ridgecrest). The entire experience from start to finish was so impressive with staff interactions - from booking the appointment to final payout. I was seen by a stylist named Angel (I'm not sure of his last name) - he was amazing! Not just in the services he provided - which alone, was better than any other haircut I've had recently - but in the way that he made me feel like a VIP. Angel took the time to really appreciate and understand my specific hair type, listen to my input, and make professional recommendations that would really work for me in my daily life. I left the salon feeling like the best possible version of myself and the entire time I felt so comfortable and at ease. I wanted to take the time to leave a 5-star review, I do hope that you'll pass along my compliments to Angel and the rest of the spa staff; he is truly an asset as a stylist and an overall customer service superstar! P.S. I will be returning next time I'm in Vegas, based on the experience that Angel & team provided (aka give that guy a raise/bonus/acknowledgement) :)

HOTEL IS TRULY A "GOLDEN NUGGET" ON FREMONT STREET
My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful 4 day stay and will recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We dined at 2 of your restaurants-prices fair, service excellent. Loved the pool and thankful for the ability to use with early check-in and post check out due to flight times. Thank you everyone!

No receipt, how hard is this to do.
Still can't get a receipt for our stay. Guess that's too hard for them. Text said receipt within 24 hours. Just a reply to upgrade room. Same when requested twice thru their website. Just get a reply to book rooms in the future, which won't be happening. Guess you have to call since their website for booking rooms is garbage.

GOLD TOWER NOT SO GOLDEN
I’ve been a loyal customer & have stayed at Golden Nugget for the past 10 years, though always at Rush Tower. My prior stay was September 2021. It was my first time staying in the Gold Tower, and I have never before witnessed GN in such a terrible state of disarray. Most of the elevators at Gold Tower broke down, leaving us only TWO elevators to use the entire 3-day Memorial Day weekend, but the alarms went off Saturday in the middle of the night, causing evacuations and interrupting our vacation and time. We were stuck downstairs about two hours & trekked the long walk up on the stairs afterward. We never got an apology or some sort of announcement from the hotel to ensure our safety or at least clarify the situation. They went on about business as if nothing happened. Lastly, it is really ridiculous that Gold Tower rooms do not come with blackout curtains…. Or any curtains for that matter, especially for the price we paid. This has been my worst stay at GN and I feel confident that I will start booking across the street at Circa moving forward.

ROBBED WHILE SLEEPING IN ROOM!
You are not PROTECTED here, the gaming tables are but not hallways, stairwells and ROOMS. Someone had a KEY and entered our room at 2:38AM and stole our wallets and phones while we laid there sleeping. In less than a minute and GOLDEN NUGGET doesn't seem to care, HAPPENS ALL THE TIME... They should be held accountable and LIABLE to replace our property.
