Mar 29, 2026Don’t stay here unless you want to be filmed for a TV show while having a medical episode
We stayed at this hotel for a trip where my son was proposing to his girlfriend of 4 years. Her parents and two sister came to surprise her at the proposal. Also, another couple we are friends with came. While there we rented a cabana one day, the pool side party pit and cabana another day and the poolside party pit in the final day. When booking all of these rooms and cabana’s we were unaware that the hotel had entered into an agreement with an outside media company to film a show at the resort. On our last evening there, my soon to be daughter in law had a medical incident that caused her to pass out twice. The scummy camera crew thought it was appropriate to try to film the whole incident to use for their show. Several people from our group asked them repeatedly to not film her and tried to block their view. The “security” and night manager at the hotel told us that they had a right to film and that we shouldn’t have any expectations of privacy. While I understand we don’t have a right to privacy in a casino, we very much have a right to decency at a hotel that we paid thousands of dollars. After the incident, my husband and my soon to be daughter in law’s father both asked to speak to management. They were both brushed off by people that told them it was above their pay grade. I hope this reaches whoever’s pay grade it is at and they reconsider having this camera crew in the hotel. It’s not right to have people filming young girls having a medical episode, especially after her family has asked them to stop.

Horrible, don’t stay here!!
I had a horrific experience at this property. The room was infested with bugs they were everywhere: on the walls, the floor, and even crawling in the bed sheets. To make matters worse, the room was filthy; the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the trash cans were still full from the previous guest. The phone only worked on speaker and was filthy. The refrigerator had a strong sour odor, the outlets didn’t work only one for tv. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful when addressed. Between the lack of hygiene and the heavy smoke, it was a miserable stay. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Golden Nugget Sports book
We always stay here for our annual March madness trip. We are a large group and stay in the Sportsbook all day watching basketball. Jonathan Pachciarz is our favorite part of the sports book. He’s always so friendly and helpful when placing our bets. I won’t place my bets with anyone else. Go Arizona.
